Know the cause of the China Eastern Airlines crash

On September 29, 2006, Brazilian Gol Airlines flight 1907 took off from Manaus, Brazil, carrying 148 passengers and 6 crew members. This flight was the same as China Eastern Airlines flight MU5735. It belongs to the same model, a brand-new Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft. At that time, Flight 1907 was traveling normally and smoothly at an altitude of 37,000 feet.

Note:

At the same time, a Legacy N600XL luxury business jet from the American business jet company Excellence Aviation was flying on the same route. This was the first business jet delivered from the factory. In a flight, since it was a relative flight on the same route and at the same altitude, Flight 1907 would definitely collide with the oncoming business jet.

So in the Brasilia area, the business jet should descend to an altitude of 36,000 feet to avoid the situation according to the air traffic control prompts. However, the air traffic controller responsible for instructing the business jet at the time did not instruct the business jet to descend to the designated altitude. , then, tragedy happened. At 16:48 on September 29, 2006, Flight 1907 disappeared from the radar. At this time, the business jet reported a collision and made an emergency landing at a nearby airport.

Three days later, the black box of Flight 1907 was found, which is the flight data recorder. According to the records of the recorder, the plane of Flight 1907 suddenly tilted to the left while flying smoothly and rolled continuously in the air. 11 times, and finally disintegrated at high altitude due to being unable to withstand the pressure. Investigators discovered the wreckage of Flight 1907 when they collected it.

About half of the left wing of the aircraft had obvious cutting marks. That is to say, in the collision with the business jet, half of the left wing was directly cut off, resulting in loss of control.
