The Human History of Mufu Mountain Street

"Six dynasties prosperous time, flat weeds far idle trees. Relying on the sky, the clouds are like curtains, and it is known as the Shogunate Mountain. " This is Mufu Mountain written by Yang Bei, a famous poet in the Northern Song Dynasty, which truly reflects the historical and cultural origin of Mufu Mountain. Shogun Mountain has a history of 600 million years. As early as the Warring States Period, Qin Shihuang visited the Shogun Mountain and sailed north from Shangyuanmen. In the first year of Jianwu in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (AD 3 17), Si Marui, the king of Langya, was called the King of Jin in Jiankang. The following year, he proclaimed himself Jin Yuan and worshipped Wang Dao as Prime Minister. Wang Dao set up the shogunate (General Staff) on the mountain, so this mountain is called the shogunate mountain, and the shogunate mountain area is also designated as the territory of Wang Dao. During the Southern Dynasties, the south of the Shogun Mountain was the place where the emperor hunted, drank and entertained. In the summer of 556 A.D., Liang and Beiqi fought a life-and-death battle on the Shogun Mountain. As a result, Liang's general Chen Baxian defeated the invading army of Beiqi and saved Liang. Liang gave up the throne, and a new dynasty appeared in Nanjing. In the early years of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang also visited the Shogunate Mountain many times. At that time, in order to build the city wall, Zhu Yuanzhang recruited 13 migrant workers to burn kilns here. The quality of the bricks burned in the kiln here is the best, and the migrant workers are also working hard. He was very happy after seeing it, and immediately gave the silver and wine to the chief migrant worker. Just as the emperor was happy, a representative of migrant workers knelt down and complained to the emperor. There is no place name here, so it is impossible to contact his family. Please tell the emperor the name of the village. Zhu Yuanzhang thought what he said was reasonable, so he said, this is a first-class kiln factory, so let's call it Yaoshang Village. This village name has been used ever since. In A.D. 1684, that is, 324 years ago, Emperor Kangxi went to Nanjing for the first time, visited Shangyuanmen, and then went to the Shogun Mountain to worship. At that time, there were 12 zigzag bends from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, with a total length of 32 miles. After five years, he came to the shogunate again. At that time, the shogunate mountain was extremely prosperous and lively. There is a shogunate avenue below, with six pagodas, forty-nine rooms and three temples, and pilgrims are in an endless stream. In thousands of years of human history, the Shogun Mountain has long been a treasure trove of geomantic omen for emperors and generals.
