Determination of the eight directions
The often said "all directions" refers to the eight directions of east, south, west, north, southeast, southwest, northwest and northeast. Draw a horizontal line with arrows on both sides, and draw a perpendicular line through its midpoint with arrows on both sides. Marked directions: up, north, down, south, left, west, right, east. Then make two adjacent quadrants or bisectors of 90-degree angles and extend them in the opposite direction while adding arrows.
