The periodic table of elements did not appear until the Qing Dynasty. Why can the names given by Zhu Yuanzhang be connected to form a periodic table?

I believe that both science students and liberal arts students will have a deep impression on the periodic table of elements. It was discovered by a chemist named Mendeleev on February 17, 1869. In the era of the chemist Mr. Mendeleev, chemistry at that time was not as developed as it is now. People only came up with many elements through their own imagination and thinking, without any theoretical practice. The periodic table of elements we use now was adapted from Xu Shou, a scientist from the Qing Dynasty.

Then why is it said that Zhu Yuanzhang’s name can be connected to form a periodic table of elements? There are three reasons. The first one: Zhu Yuanzhang is a person who believes very much in the Five Elements theory. He believes that the names of his children must not fall short of the Five Elements. The sum of all his children's names can ensure the perfection of the Five Elements. This means that in the Ming Dynasty, the five elements can be perfected in Feng Shui. The second point: Zhu Yuanzhang chose twenty characters for each of the children he gave birth to in order to continue the family line, and used them to name the children and their own children's descendants. The third point: When Zhu Yuanzhang named his descendants, he stipulated that only his brother's son, King Jingjiang, could not be named this way. This was because King Jingjiang had committed a crime that required beheading before, but Zhu Yuanzhang He respected his brother very much, so he did not punish King Jingjiang. Zhu Yuanzhang's descendants and his own sons have too many names. Let's take Zhu Di as an example: Gao Zhan Qi Jianyou, Hou Zai Yi Chang You, Ci He Yi Bo Zhong, Jian Jing Di Xian You. ?When Zhu Di named his descendants, he followed the format left by Zhu Yuanzhang: the surname seniority and the characters in the Five Elements. The last character of Zhu Di’s four sons when linked together is ChiXu SuiYun, which corresponds to the Five Elements. .

You can’t tell much about Zhu Yuanzhang’s names by looking at them alone, but the further you look down, the more you can see the pattern. After Xu Shou, a scientist in the Qing Dynasty, discovered this rule, he adapted it using the characters in the Five Elements and wrote the periodic table of chemical elements we use today.
