1. Jade Crab Bridge
In Xinya Village, Jintouqiao Township, there was originally a north-south stone bridge with three ridges on top, which was named Stone Crab Bridge. According to legend, there was a stone crab chiselled on the west side of the original bridge. People often mistakenly thought that a real crab was on the bridge, hence the name. One day, a treasure hunter from Jiangxi Province discovered the stone crab and stole it on a snowy night, leaving only a crab-shaped concave shape on the bridge. People thought that what was stolen was not an ordinary stone crab, but a jade crab. From this, Jade Crab Bridge became famous.
2. Xie Bridge
Xie Bridge is Xie Niang Bridge. It is said that this bridge had its name during the Six Dynasties. Xie Niang, who is unknown, may be called Xie Qiuniang. In poems, this bridge often refers to a place for traveling or a place to have fun with your lover. One version of Xie Niang refers to Xie Qiuniang, a famous courtesan in the Tang Dynasty, and another version refers to Xie Daoyun, a talented woman of the generation who was known as the "talent in singing catkins" because she was "not as good as catkins because the wind blows".
Later, "Xie Bridge" became a symbol: as long as the beloved woman stood at the end of the bridge, the bridge was worthy of being called "Xie Bridge".
3. Suipanqiao
In the early days of liberation, there was a Xiaoqiao Village in Zhuangxing. I don’t know when it started, but it was regarded by a Feng Shui master as a Feng Shui treasure land with the "Three Yuan Undefeated" . One day, two Feng Shui masters came to Xiaoqiao Village with their compasses, and they both wanted to find a "land where dragons show off". I saw loud singing and red flags waving at the head of the village, and farmers were engaged in spring plowing.
When the two Feng Shui masters saw this, they shook their heads and sighed: "Feng Shui is useless, so don't lie to people anymore." After that, they threw the compass in their hands on the bridge and the fragments flew everywhere. From then on, the small bridge was called "Shapan Bridge".
