Sima Yi is not really a military strategist. In the field of the Three Kingdoms, there are not many recognized military strategists in history (of course, not necessarily recognized by the people, but Liu Guan and Zhang Zhao). Among the Wu temples established in the Tang Dynasty, Jiang Ziya was the chief strategist, followed by Sun Wu, Wuqi, Le Yi, Tian Rangcha, Bai Qi, Han Xin, Sean, Zhuge Liang and Bai Qi. Later, it was expanded to 64, and Guan Yu, Zhou Yu and Lu Xun were selected.
Among them, except Zhuge Liang and Guan Yu, all the other candidates are the most powerful militarists of an era, no doubt. However, since Zhuge can be selected, it at least shows a certain degree of recognition.
