Shouguang City, where I live, has a long history and profound heritage. It is also the birthplace of Dongyi culture. The historical sights and folklore are even more popular and talked about.
The most famous ones are the "Eight Scenes of Shouguang" and the "Eight Scenes of Shoucheng". The "Eight Scenic Spots of Shouguang" covers a large area and refers to the eight famous scenic spots in Shouguang. The "Eight Scenic Spots of Shoucheng" refers to the eight scenic spots and historic sites in Shouguang County.
The world is changing and the world is changing. The "Eight Scenes of Shouguang" have experienced natural and man-made disasters and have long been submerged in the depths of history. We can only rely on written records to imagine its former glory.
After thousands of years, writing remains the most stubborn.
Among the eight scenic spots in Shouguang today, the remains of Songtai, the "Sacred Cauldron of Songtai", still remain. The Xingluo Village of "Xingluo Shijiu" has also been assigned to Qingzhou City, and the stone mortar-shaped meteorites have also disappeared without a trace. After the Wanggao Tower of "Wanggao Yinsha" was blown up in the crazy era of the last century, another one was copied a few years ago. In the thousand-year-old temple "Ningguo Temple", only the thousand-year-old locust tree still witnesses the past, and with the distant morning bells and evening drums, tells the story of the vicissitudes...
In the past few years, Shouguang City, where I live, has experienced rapid economic development. Cities are also getting bigger. Various landmark buildings are also emerging one after another... I have a suggestion, should we collect and sort out the "Eight New Scenic Spots of Shouguang"?
Whether it is the "Eight Scenes" or the "Ten Scenes", it is actually a way of publicity, similar to what is now called a "city business card", right? The ancients all understood "urban marketing", and today's people should carry it forward and pass it on.
(The following information is taken from the Internet)
In the history of our country, from the capital to the prefectures, prefectures, and counties, there were eight or ten local sceneries, such as Beijing's "Lugou Xiaoyue" ", Jinan's "Foshan Reflection", "Minghu Autumn Moon" and so on. Our Shouguang has a long history and a rich collection of people, and the Eight Scenes is no exception. Regardless of the "Eight Scenic Spots" or the "Ten Scenic Spots", some places are indeed worthy of their names, and some places are far-fetched. But it shows people's deep affection for their country and their love for their hometown. Why are there only eight sceneries? It is said that there was a great painter named Song Di in the Northern Song Dynasty, who was from Luoyang, Henan, and was a Jinshi. He is good at painting cold forests, pine trees, and rocks, especially flat mountains and distant waters. He painted the famous places in Hunan into eight scenes, namely: "Goose falling on the flat sand, returning sails in Yuanpu, Qinglan in the mountain city, dusk snow in the river sky, autumn moon in Dongting, night rain in Xiaoxiang, evening bell in Yansi Temple, sunset in fishing village", and named them "Xiaoxiang". "Eight Scenes" is his proud work in his life. After the painting was completed, the painters and poets at that time were fascinated by it. They considered this masterpiece to be unparalleled in the world and named it one of the "Eight Scenes of Xiaoxiang". With poems accompanying each scene, it caused a sensation in both the government and the public, and was well-known in the north and south. It has become a trend in various places, and most of the scenery is taken from the eight sceneries. Later, all the dynasties of the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties were affected by this, and the eight scenic spots in various parts of our country came from this.
Shouguang people often talk about the eight sceneries in Shouguang in the past. What are the eight sceneries? After examining historical records and visiting elders, we finally found out. The Eight Scenic Spots of Shouguang are divided into "Eight Scenic Spots of Shouguang County" and "Eight Scenic Spots of Shoucheng".
The Eight Scenic Spots of Shouguang are distributed throughout the city. Scholars and poets throughout the ages often wrote poems and paintings based on this theme. The "Continuation of Shouguang County Chronicles" compiled in 1755 (the 20th year of Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty) contains woodcuts of eight scenes of Shouguang, accompanied by literati's poems.
The autumn moon of Xitai is located in the old county government office (on the city wall behind the current Armed Forces Ministry Courtyard), commonly known as "Xixitai." The name of the platform is taken from the meaning of Laozi's sentence: "Everyone is in high spirits, as if they were on the Spring Terrace." In the mid-autumn season, the clear moon is reflected, and the ancient city is picturesque. The best view is to go up to the stage to admire the moon. Li Zhenkui, a native of the Qing Dynasty, wrote a poem: "The melting moonlight shines on the Xitai, and the jade sky blooms for the love of the clear autumn."
Looking at the sea. The platform is located on the side of Xihei Village, Daokou Town, and is commonly known as Heizhong. The person who raised it to look at the sea may have named it." By Ye. There is a temple on the Songtai Temple near Songtai Village in Sunjiaji Town. There is a large cauldron covering a deep well. It is said that the deep well is the eye of the sea. It is said that in Zhoutuanhai City, today's Jiawa Town. Near the village, "mirages" often appear in the sky every time there is frost in the morning and mist in the evening, which is called a spectacle.

Frost City appears in fog. Frost City is near Qingshuibo and has been submerged for a long time. Later, pavilions and pavilions often appeared on the water in foggy days, which was called a wonder. Li Zhenquai of the Qing Dynasty wrote a poem: "The mist is lingering in the sky and the sky is approaching early, and the lush green and beautiful atmosphere arises for a while. The castles in the sky appear and disappear, and the frontier is closed and the brightness is suddenly wiped out."
Wanggao Yinsha Pagoda is located on the southeast highland of Wanggao Village. The tower is 32.3 meters high and has seven floors. It is made of stones and large green bricks. The tower body is eight-sided and has a base circumference of 35.5 meters. After the severe winter snow, the ancient temple is decorated with silver and jade, standing on high ground, clean and proud. Li Zhenyi's poem in the Qing Dynasty goes: "The ancient pagoda is towering a hundred feet high, decorated with six flowers to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The light shakes the silver sea for ten miles, and the bright jade is broken for three winters."
The star falls 20 kilometers west of Shoucheng. Luocun (in ancient times it belonged to Shouguang, now it belongs to Qingzhou City). There is a huge meteorite in Weiwan next to the village, shaped like a stone mortar. Because it is rare, it is called a scene. A poem written by Li Zhenyi from the Qing Dynasty said: "The name of Haiyu Village is related to the fallen star, and you choose to stay here. Whoever uses the jade pestle to return to the sky seems to use the high chasm to uncover the earth spirit."
Historical Records of the Eight Scenic Spots of Shoucheng There is no explicit record, but it is widely spread among the masses and has become a customary eight sceneries. Some opinions are not consistent. For example, some old people say that among the eight sceneries, there are "Eight Branch Pines" but not "Xixitai"; some say that there is "Nanmen Night Rain" but not "Ningguo Temple". However, most of the old gentlemen who personally visited in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China and have a certain level of education unanimously agree that the following places are the "Eight Scenic Spots of Shoucheng".
