Shi Hu [1], a stone carving relic from the late Western Han Dynasty, was found in Xihai County, haiyan county, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. This precious cultural relic provides physical and written materials for studying the history and geography of Xihai County, and it is also one of the earliest stone carvings with inscriptions found in our province so far. Shi Hu is carved from huge granite, with a length of1.50m, a height of1.50m and a back width of 0.60m. It lies on a rectangular stone pedestal, with its tiger tail sandwiched between its hind legs and draped on its left back. Lively and vivid, it seems that there is a kind of jumping appearance, with the rich and simple style of stone carving in Han Dynasty. What is even more precious is the inscription "Xihai County was built in Henan" engraved in front of the stone seat. According to the number of counties in Xihai, Wang Mang should set up counties in the four seas. The founding of the People's Republic was the first year when Wang Mang proclaimed himself emperor, that is, 9- 13, with a history of 1970 years. Henan is the seat of Xihai County, which means it is in the south of Henan. Shi Hu was once abandoned in the wild, and the relevant departments moved it to Haiyan Cultural Center for people of all ethnic groups to visit, which is one of the key cultural relics in the province.
