Three. Introduction to Attractions Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is located at the foot of Leigong Mountain in the northeast of Leishan County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It is the largest Miao village in China, unique in the world.
It is 36 kilometers away from Leishan County, 33 kilometers away from the capital of Qiandongnan Prefecture and about 280 kilometers away from Guiyang, the provincial capital. It is made up of more than ten natural villages which are built around mountains and connected with each other. The terraced fields lead directly to the sky along the mountain, and the Baishui River passes through the village, dividing the Xijiang Miao Village in two.
Due to the limitation of cultivated land resources, Miao residents living here make full use of the topographic features here to build a unique wooden diaojiao building in the Mid-levels. With the ups and downs of the terrain, more than 1000 diaojiao buildings are built on the mountain, which is spectacular. Xijiang's annual Miao New Year Festival, Eating New Year Festival and 13 Tibetan Calendar Festival are world-famous. Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is an open-air museum, which shows an epic of Miao development and becomes a stand for watching and studying Miao traditional culture.
Four. Tourist attractions 1. Ancient street
Thousands of Miao villages in Xijiang River are surrounded by mountains, terraces lead directly to the sky along the mountains, and Baishui River passes through the village, dividing Miao villages in two. The diaojiao buildings in the village are stacked on top of each other, built on the mountain, continuous and magnificent. The one along Baishui River is called Youfang Street, and the one near the mountain is called Ancient Street. There are many shops on both sides of the ancient street, which is one of the areas with the most concentrated tourists and the most distinctive Miao village, and it is also the core tourist area of Miao village. Wandering in the stockade, Miao's wooden diaojiao building is built on the mountain, and the crystal clear Baishui River passes through the stockade. The bustling streets are colorful, mysterious and full of ethnic customs.
2. Yau Fong Street
There is a wind and rain bridge on Baishui River, where you can rest. Under the wind bridge, the river is clear, the trees along the river are lush, and tourists wear Miao costumes to take pictures on the shore. The breeze blows on my face, which is very cool.
3.gage Gu Xiang
Gage Gu Xiang, Miao language means Miao Village Hutong. Gage Gu Xiang has many cultural attractions that tourists must visit. They walked into Gu Xiang with oiled paper umbrellas. The dark red wooden walls of the old wooden houses on both sides are painted with ethnic murals. Vivid painted murals record the mysterious totems, beautiful legends and grand Miao Year. In Gu Xiang, there are the "Origin Xijiang River" which witnessed the earliest history of Xijiang River, the "Family Sacrifice Bridge" which displays the ancient Miao culture, and the living cultural exhibition points such as oral epic singing of ancient songs, love song duet, Miao Xiu non-genetic bearing, silver ornaments making and rice wine brewing created by Miao and clan ancestors in their long-term production and life practice.
4. Pastoral sightseeing area
Xijiang Qianhu Miao village pastoral area covers an area of more than 400 mu, with an altitude of 850 to 900 meters. In fact, this is only a small part of Xijiang rice fields. The land here is fertile and rich in water. Miao people have cultivated land here for generations and raised generations of Xijiang people. This paddy field is also a treasure trove of feng shui. It is said that lucky villagers will see silvery cocks crowing in the rice fields below Dongyin Village when they get up early. The rooster is tall and loud. It is said that a lot of money is buried under this field.
5. Observation deck
Miao village observation deck, between beautiful mountains and rivers, overlooks the whole village and has a unique scenery. Standing on the observation deck, you can see the smoke rising from cooking by thousands of Miao families. The diaojiao building of Qianhu Miao family is built on the mountain, which is layered and magnificent. The top of the mountain can be photographed from the foot of the mountain, which is very beautiful, and the whole Miao village is presented in front of you.
