Composition on travel notes for senior high school students: 1,100-word composition on a trip to Hongcun, an ancient village in southern Anhui

Just after the winter vacation, my family and relatives came to Tangkou County, Huangshan City, ready to start this trip to Huangshan!

According to the plan, we first came to Hongcun, an ancient village in southern Anhui listed on the World Cultural Heritage List, and Hongcun is located in Yi County, the cultural corridor of Huizhou in China. Huangshan Mountain was called "Yishan" in ancient times, and Yixian County got its name because it is located at the southern foot of "Yishan". The construction of Yixian County began in 221 BC, which has a history of more than 2,200 years! Although it has withstood more than 2,000 years of wind and rain, Yixian County still has beautiful scenery. The rolling peaks are connected with Huangshan Mountain. If the towering Huangshan Mountain is compared to a majestic symphony, then Yixian County is A touching movement from this symphony!

Since Yi County is so beautiful, then Hongcun is even better!

Let’s talk about the architecture of Hongcun first. Since Hongcun was built in the Southern Song Dynasty, all the buildings in Hongcun have white walls and blue tiles. From a distance, there is a gray-white sky and earth between the rolling peaks. However, Hongcun was home to wealthy tycoons and wealthy businessmen at that time. Why didn’t they spend their money on the color of the exterior walls of their houses? In China's feudal society, there was a very strict class distinction in the use of color. Ordinary people were absolutely not allowed to use splendid colors and decorations, especially gold, on the exterior walls of their homes. Gold is reserved for royal families and nobles. Therefore, during construction, smart builders designed this gray-white color to create a sense of tranquility and peace against the backdrop of green mountains and green waters. However, after thousands of years of sun and rain, the white powder on the wall has long since peeled off in patches. Although it has lost the brightness, monotony and even simplicity of white, it has added a strong sense of history.

After looking at the buildings in Hongcun, let’s take a look at the general appearance of Hongcun. Since people in ancient times paid more attention to Feng Shui, the planning of Hongcun was very particular. There are a lot of comments on mountain shapes in Feng Shui, such as: "Thick mountains make people fat, thin mountains make people hungry, clear mountains make people beautiful, turbid mountains make people fascinated", etc. On the other hand, Hongcun has the majestic Leigang Mountain at its back and is surrounded by Jie River. The situation is better, so there is no need to worry about the mountain topography. However, the two streams in Hongcun do not merge in the west but go around the south, which is a major flaw. Therefore, during the Yongle period of Mingshui, Wang Xin and his wife, the 76th ancestor of Hongcun, hired He Da, a Feng Shui master known as the "National Master" three times to observe the situation and trends and transform the village according to the shape of a cow. So the villagers drilled hundreds of feet of water to serve as cow intestines; they mined natural spring water to serve as cow stomachs; they built four wooden bridges to serve as cows' feet; they planted two towering trees to serve as cows' horns; the mountains served as cows' heads, and the houses served as cows' feet. Cow body.

After learning this, I can’t help but sigh: The five thousand years of history of the Chinese nation are profound and profound! Never throw it away! Whether it is the color of the building, the structure of the building, the general layout of the building, the understanding of Feng Shui, or the appreciation of the ancients, it seems that we modern people are inferior! The Chinese nation still has many cultures that we are waiting for us to understand. These cultures are full of knowledge and truth. Let us further understand them, conduct in-depth discussions and "dissect" them

Endless Hongcun Tour , I have endless words to say, let’s talk about Hongcun...
