This is a South American fat carp, ranging in size from small and medium-sized fish below 30 cm to behemoths over one meter. Most of them live in the fast-flowing waters in the upper reaches of the Amazon River and share a habitat with peacock bass. Its biggest feature is, of course, two long fangs in the jaw-these two teeth can pierce the prey's body and its swim bladder, so that he can hunt the biggest prey with the least force. Because of this specialization and amazing swallowing ability, Yan Fang is certainly a professional fish killer. Large-scale giant storms mainly kill piranhas, and of course they will never let go of anything edible, including their own kind.
