In fact, the performance of air in the car water tank is that the antifreeze in the water tank has air resistance, which will lead to poor circulation of coolant. After the antifreeze is filled, it fails to circulate in the engine at normal speed, and finally a high temperature alarm will appear. I didn't see the reason after checking for a long time, probably because there was too much air in the water tank.
How should the car water tank exhaust air? First, we will warm up the vehicle for 5- 10 minutes. After the cooling fan rotates, the coolant will drop a little, then fill it up and cover the water tank. However, this method can only cure the symptoms, not the root cause. If you want to completely eradicate the air in the water tank, you must do the correct operation when replacing the coolant next time. The following are the operation steps.
The first step is to open the engine compartment in a cold state and check whether the coolant is sufficient. The side of the coolant pot has an upper limit scale and a lower limit scale. When the liquid level is lower than the lower limit when the car is cold, it will be added, and the amount of addition will be subject to the scale on the side of the kettle.
Step 2, check whether the connecting pipe has cracks and leaks, especially the five-way pipe;
Step 3, drain the old antifreeze, clean the liquid passage with clear water, let the clear water continuously flow through the engine cooling system, then idle for 3 to 5 minutes, let the water circulate, and continue to inject the clear water until the flowing water is clean;
Step 4: In order to make antifreeze flow into the water tank quickly, after draining for about 1 hour, add new antifreeze from the water pipe of the water tank (radiator), then add a bucket of antifreeze to the antifreeze tank, and light the car for about 10 minutes until the antifreeze tank is almost full. At this time, the cooling system discharges some air, and the liquid level drops, and then antifreeze is added, with a capacity of two minutes.
