Excuse me, is the heating of the air conditioner in the car not warm? Now I opened it and found that there was no water in both pipes. What is the reason?

In hot weather, the outdoor unit runs out of water because the air conditioner enters the defrosting mode, but this is a running state brought by defrosting. In order to protect the product and provide better heating:

1. defrosting reason: since the heat exchanger of outdoor heating unit is evaporator in winter, Freon liquid needs to be evaporated outdoors. However, due to the low outdoor temperature, a large amount of frost will condense on the heat exchanger, even reaching the freezing state, which will affect the heat transfer effect. So there is a temperature sensor inside the air conditioner to detect it. When the pipe temperature of the heat exchanger is lower than a certain standard, it will be forced to defrost to remove frost or ice on the outdoor heat exchanger.

In addition, the defrosting interval depends on two points:

1) setting of air-conditioning products themselves: the minimum defrosting time is fixed according to different products.

2) Outdoor air environment: Both temperature and humidity are factors that affect the defrosting cycle, and humidity has a greater influence.

2. Difference of effluent: When cooling, the evaporator is the heat exchanger of the indoor unit, but when the room temperature is high in summer, it will not frost, but directly form condensed water to flow out of the drain pipe of the indoor unit, while when heating, the evaporator is the heat exchanger of the outdoor unit, but in winter, the outdoor temperature is low, so it needs to be thawed to form condensed water, while when the indoor temperature is high, Freon will not form condensed water, so the water will flow outdoors.

Air conditioning products should have a drain hole connected to the drain pipe on the chassis of the outdoor unit. If the drain pipe is connected, the water will flow out with every hole in the outdoor machine case, but as long as it does not affect the downstairs residents, there is no big problem, so don't worry.
