Zhao Liancheng, male, born in 1938, originally from Funing County, Jiangsu Province, graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1963 and is a dual-appointed academician of Taiyuan University of Technology. He was promoted to professor in 1989 and named doctoral supervisor in 1993. He once served as the first dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology.
