1 National Day, my mother and I came to the Three Gorges scenic spot of the Yellow River, which is called "Pinghu, the first high gorge in the Central Plains".
As soon as the car drove into the scenic spot, a strong breath of nature came to my face: the mountains were continuous and the white clouds bypassed the verdant mountainside, making people feel like they were in a fairyland.
When we got off the bus, we took a boat.
Enter Bali Gorge, the first gorge of the Yellow River in Wan Li. The tour guide's explanation showed us that Bali Gorge is the last gorge of the surging Yellow River and the narrowest place in the middle and lower reaches of the main channel of the Yellow River. This canyon is only a stone's throw away and 8 kilometers long. Cliffs on both sides, fast-flowing water, waves lapping on the shore, the momentum is extremely spectacular.
The boat continued to move forward, and we came to Longfeng Gorge, where the peaks circled and flowed, with rugged rocks, incense burner mountains, crown tops and camel peaks. Longfeng Gorge and the Phoenix Slope in the canyon complement each other, forming a natural picture of dragons and phoenixes, hence its name.
Further on, it suddenly becomes clear that there are 10 square kilometers of Shi Feng Lake, Gaoxia Pinghu, rippling blue waves, lakes and mountains on both sides, smoke curling up, and the weather changes, just like Penglai fairyland. This is Gushan Canyon. In the flagpole pool of Gushanxia, there is a Koishiyama, as lifelike as a lying cow. According to legend, this treasure trove of geomantic omen was seized by Zhao Kuangyin, the founding emperor of the Song Dynasty, so that he got ahead, ascended the throne and became a proud son of a generation.
Then, we got on the ropeway car, like a plane without wings and a car without wheels. It feels like walking on clouds. There are white clouds floating in the air, like big peony in full bloom, and the green river is rolling forward with cheerful songs.

The Three Gorges is a magnificent grand canyon along the Yangtze River and one of the top ten scenic spots in China. It starts from Baidicheng, fengjie county, Sichuan Province in the west and ends in Nanjinguan, Yichang, Hubei Province in the east. It consists of Qutang Gorge, Wuxia Gorge and Xiling Gorge, with a total length of 192km. It is the essence of the scenery of the Yangtze River, a treasure in the mountains and rivers of China, and it shines with eternal charm. Here, the mountains are stacked, the cliffs are facing each other, and the smoke cages are locked in fog; The river here is surging, the wind and rain are cracked, and it is gone forever; The strange rocks here are majestic and resemble people. The caves here are grotesque, empty, deep and mysterious ... One mountain and one water in the Three Gorges are no less than poetry. In this summer vacation, my mother finally decided to take me to this picturesque place.
On the first day, we took a cruise to the first scenic spot-Bai Di. I remember that we once studied an ancient poem by Li Bai: "Farewell to Bai Di, and return to Jiangling in a day. The apes on both sides of the strait can't stop crying, and the canoe has passed Chung Shan Man. " This poem is actually about the beautiful Betty City, and the guide aunt set off with everyone. We came to the foot of Baidicheng and saw a red bridge across the river. After crossing the bridge, we were stunned by the beautiful scenery in front of us. The rolling green hills stand in front of us, white clouds hang on the mountainside, lush trees and crystal dew roll on the leaves, and many unknown birds are singing heartily. How beautiful! Everyone took out their cameras to take pictures, and we also took some. We reluctantly left Baidicheng and returned to the boat.
The next day, we came to Qutang Gorge, the first gorge of the Three Gorges, which is the shortest but most magnificent gorge in the Three Gorges. Aunt tour guide took out a new ten-dollar bill and said, "The pattern on the back of this bill was taken in Qutangxia. At the entrance to both ends of Qutang Gorge, cliffs stand on both sides, less than 100 meters apart. It is shaped like a portal, also known as Qutang Gorge. There are five big characters on the rock: "Kuimen is the best in the world". The famous Chijiashan on the left is said to have been camped here by the ancient Pakistani general Chi Jia. The sharp mountain mouth is like a big flat peach. No matter what the weather is like, the famous White Salt Mountain on the right will always weave layers of bright or dark Yin Hui. Although Qutang Gorge is short, it can "town the water of the whole Sichuan and choke the throat of Ba 'e", and it has the majestic momentum of "controlling Ba 'yu in the west and pressing the mountain of Jingchu in the east".
On the last day, we came to the Three Gorges Dam, which is said to be the largest power station in the world. One eighth of China's electricity comes from here. First I saw a gray building, and my mother told me that it was the Three Gorges Dam. The Yangtze River was cut off by the Three Gorges Dam. The lower part of the Three Gorges Dam is wide and the upper part is narrow, forming a right-angled trapezoid. There are many large grooves in the middle, which are used for flood discharge. Both sides are used to generate electricity. So when there is no flood discharge, water flows out from the bottom of the power house. Vehicles at the top of the dam can pass, and armed police stand guard on both sides. Not all vehicles can pass, only vehicles with passes can pass. There is an orange thing on it. My mother told me that it is a permanent gantry crane, which is specially used to repair the bottom component of the lock chamber. In the evening, we left the Three Gorges Dam and returned to the cruise ship. ...

Located at the junction of Hubei and Chongqing, the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River in China is one of the top ten scenic spots in China. I visited Baidicheng, Little Three Gorges, Little Three Gorges, Zhangfei Temple, Huangling Temple, Three Gorges Dam and Yangtze River Closure Memorial Park.
My mother told me that the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River is rich in hydraulic resources and is an important pillar of China electric power. The electricity we use every day comes from the Three Gorges Power Station. When I saw the power station with my own eyes, I couldn't help admiring the heroes who built it.
I love the beauty of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River and the great contribution it has made to us.
