Why can't Feng Shui give pants to others?

This should have nothing to do with feng shui. It's just a folk saying, especially not to give your girlfriend pants and shoes. I gave it to them when I was young, but my girlfriend is not my own. This is a taboo. You can take off your pants and shoes if you want, and you can run faster if you put them on. What do you mean?
