What is the Silk Road? What route did the ancient Silk Road take?

The "Silk Road" is an important channel for trade and cultural exchanges between China and the West in ancient times, connecting Asia and Europe. This long trade route from Asia to Europe is named after the important commodity traded along the way is silk. Countries along the Silk Road not only do business, but also understand the culture and life of other countries.

With this road, the communication between eastern and western countries will be smoother. The Silk Road is far away, and it has to cross many deserts. It is windy and dry, mainly relying on camels to help. The route of the ancient Silk Road:

1. Changan or Luoyang. The Silk Road started from Chang 'an or Luoyang, and Chang 'an was the most influential city on the Silk Road at that time.

2. Dunhuang. Here, envoys from various countries rushed to China to pay tribute with rare birds and animals.

Step 3 cross the desert.

4. Go to Persia.

5. Finally, Rome.
