Wugong Mountain Gods in Jinding, Wugong Mountain

According to legend, a long time ago, there was an old man who raised white cranes in Da 'an, Wugong Mountain. One day, his daughter who married Lotus fell ill. The old white crane raised by the old man turned into a crane and carried the old man to visit his daughter. The night before he came back, the crane was stolen by the greedy rich man next door to his daughter's house. The old man argued angrily with the rich man. When the rich man threw the crane hair back to the old man, it turned into a crane and carried the old man back. When flying over the swamp between Da 'anli and Lianhua, the white crane turned into a mountain, which facilitated the exchanges between the people of the two places. In order to commemorate the feat of the crane, people named the main peak of this mountain as the crane peak.

In the Song Dynasty, the story of the white crane becoming a peak was widely circulated among the people. People think that the white crane with a peak is the embodiment of the fairy with a white crane. It is said that after the fairy turned her body into a mountain peak, she saw that the top of the mountain was rugged. For the convenience of passers-by, he squeezed the soil into a flat ground and opened a road running through the north and south, while his head turned into a stone statue and left it on the side of the road not far from Jinding. Later, the local people called the head of the white crane immortal the Wugong Mountain God.

You see, the steep cliff ahead is more than twenty feet high. From the top of the cliff to the foot of the cliff, a person's face should be vivid. The deep thatch at the top of the cliff is the elegant hair of the mountain god; The rocks on the cliff face are abrupt, which are quite similar to the angular characteristics of human forehead, eyes, nose, mouth and ears and are clearly visible; A stone stands out at the foot of the cliff, just like an altar for people to worship.

100 meters diagonally opposite the mountain god, a rock rises from the ground and is as flat as a rock. More than a dozen people can sit on it, which is a natural observation deck. Here, the charm of mountain gods is in the eyes of tourists.
