Longjiang Bridge is located in the 5th contract section of Baoteng Expressway civil construction, crossing Shangbanghuan, Longjiang Township, Longling County The Longchuan River Valley between the village and Dabingnong Village, Wuhe Township, Tengchong County. The Longjiang Bridge has a total length of 2,470.58 meters. It is a twin-tower single-span steel box girder suspension bridge. The height of the cable towers on the Baoshan bank is 169.688 meters, and the height of the cable towers on the Tengchong bank is 129.703 meters. The bridge deck is 280 meters from the river surface, and the top of the highest cable tower is 470 meters from the river surface. The main span is 1,196 meters long, which is 20 meters longer than the Hunan Aizhai Bridge with a main span of 1,176 meters when it was completed and opened to traffic, making it the largest suspension bridge in Asia. Most of the landforms along the route are volcanic landforms with high mountains and deep valleys, making construction difficult. The Longjiang Super Large Bridge is a key project of the Baoteng Expressway and the first extra-large-span steel box-stiffened girder suspension bridge in Yunnan Province. Due to the complex technology of the bridge, the "Research on Key Technologies of Kilometer-level Large-span Suspension Bridges in Yunnan Strong Earthquake Mountain Areas" has been listed as a western transportation science and technology project, and the bridge has been listed as a Yunnan Province highway construction informatization pilot project.
