In the spring of March, I went to the beautiful Fenghuang ancient city with Xiantao Writers Association and started a three-day tour. The ancient city is located in the Miao nationality gathering place in Xiangxi, adjacent to the mountains in Guizhou. Towering peaks rise from all directions, squeezing the small town tightly in it, which has the potential of "flat land rushing to the surface, and thousands of heavy smoke trees opening". A Tuojiang River passes through the city, and the water is as bright as a mirror. Rows of green willows and peach blossoms set off a patchwork of Gu Lou, which looks like an elegant and beautiful ink painting from a distance. A stunning stroke in the painting is the Lying Hongqiao across the banks of the Tuojiang River.
The origin of the name "Wohongqiao" comes from the fairy tale "Guanyin makes a rainbow on earth and makes lovers on earth". According to legend, in the early years of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, the phoenix was called Wuzhai Sicheng, and there was a South Huashan in the east of the city. There is a young man named Balang in Shannan. He is a hardworking and kind young man. He is tall and powerful, and he is good at martial arts. He can shoot tigers in the mountains and catch jiaozi in the sea. He is a famous local hunter. There is a girl named Cui Hua in the north of the mountain. Maybe she was moved by the aura of Xiangxi landscape. A girl of seventeen or eighteen is graceful and has the wild beauty of a mountain girl. Cui Hua's parents died young, and he lived alone, relying on firewood in the mountain. Balang and Cui Hua live on the same mountain, drink a river and work together. They know each other, know each other and fall in love, and the seeds of love take root in their hearts.
Two of a kind is a soul mate, with folk songs as the medium and mountains and rivers as the witness. On the South China Mountain, Balang and Cui Hua embraced each other tightly, chatting and singing endless love songs, and made a lifelong commitment. Just as they finished all the formalities according to the Miao family's marriage customs and were ready to tie the knot, they were rudely stopped by Basang, the son of the chief.
Basang is a dissolute "son" and a local "local tyrant". He is a bully in the ancient city, bullying men and women and committing all kinds of evils. None of the big girls and kannika nimtragol he likes can escape from his clutches. He has long coveted Cui Hua. When he knew that Cui Hua was in love with the poor boy Balang, he was angry and hated, and at a glance he thought of the bad idea of separating them.
Basang told his servants and thugs to spread around the town: Wuzhai Sicheng is a treasure trove of geomantic omen, and the treasure trove will become an emperor. I also made up a ballad to be sung everywhere: Shuanglong controls water, five horses get up early. Phoenix will have a hundred birds, and dragons will live in the center. The land of feng shui is a treasure, and the emperor is determined to win it. This ballad soon spread to Kyoto, and Zhu Yuanzhang was surprised and scared. He couldn't sit still in Beijing and took a group of civilian military commanders to the south. When I came to Wuzhai Sicheng, I saw mountains all around, and the middle water rolled eastward and flowed to the foot of Nanhuashan Mountain, then stopped abruptly and turned north. Wolong is in power and the river avoids it. It is really the living pulse of the son of heaven. If you continue to visit Long Mai and destroy its geomantic omen, you will become an emperor.
Zhu Yuanzhang ordered his attendants to bring an extra-large writing brush, dip it in thick ink, and write down the four characters "Peak breaking and flowing smoothly" at the dragon neck of Nanhuashan Mountain. The words fell on the rocks, thunder and lightning flashed, and suddenly there were showers and strong winds. Only heard a loud noise, Wolong and its head separated. A lonely peak stands proudly on the north bank of Tuojiang River, forming a wide river surface between the two banks, and the rushing water flows down the river.
Basang's plot succeeded. The Tuojiang River cut off the communication between Balang and Cui Hua, but they always loved each other. They are still across the water, cross-strait acacia, folk songs facing each other:
It is difficult to separate the heart from the mountain, and it is difficult for the elder brother to have a lover.
Even if the sky falls, the seas run dry and the rocks crumble.
Qifeng Mountain is steep and steep, and the Tuojiang River is crazy in water depth.
The mountain is high and the road is dangerous. I will marry my brother to the death.
The sincere and pure love between Balaam and Cui Hua further angered Basang. On a dark night in a month, he broke into Cui Hua's house with a group of mobs like wolves, took Cui Hua away and locked him in a tall building at the foot of Qifeng Mountain. Basang used carrots and sticks to force Cui Hua to marry him, and Cui Hua would rather die than follow.
When Balaam found out that Cui Hua had been kidnapped by Bassan, he climbed the high-rise building where Cui Hua was held in the dark, smashed the iron lock and escaped from the cage with Cui Hua. Balaam's action alarmed Basang, who led thugs to chase after him and blocked Balaam and Cui Hua on the edge of the cliff in front of Gufeng Mountain. There is a raging river in front, followed by a fierce Basang. They had no choice but to cross their hearts and wait for death. Balang held Cui Hua and jumped to the Tuojiang River ... At this moment, a rainbow suddenly appeared in the air, firmly grasping Balang and Cui Hua, and the rainbow spanned the two banks of the Tuojiang River like a painted bridge. Balang took Cui Hua from Huaqiao to Shannan and fled into the deep mountains, where they got married. After that, they fell in love and gave birth to a child. Year after year, the Miao family's incense has been passed down from generation to generation, making the desolate Shan Ye densely populated. It is said that the mountain where Balang and Cui Hua lived is today's Miao Village in Jiang Shan.
That magical rainbow was melted by the jade bottle holy water sprinkled by Guanyin Bodhisattva. Guanyin Bodhisattva saved Balang and Cui Hua, and everything will be fine. In memory of Balang's sacrifice to save Cui Hua, Guanyin set up a colorful bridge. People in the ancient city call this mountain with rainbow Guanyin Peak. The tall building where Balang saved Cui Hua was named Duocui Building. Later, people in the ancient city built a huge stone bridge between the two mountains, and the rainbow crossed it. This big stone bridge lies in the air like a rainbow, and people named it "Lying Hongqiao".
Lying Hongqiao spans the Tuojiang River and clamps the banks of the ancient city, which is the earliest and only traffic artery of the ancient city. Lying Hongqiao is actually a bridge building, which runs north and south and is two stories high. Strolling on the first floor is not only a trading ground for businessmen, but also a "sideline field" for Miao children to love each other. Pedestrians of all colors come and go like shuttles, and there are a sea of people. The second floor is full of celebrity calligraphy and painting, sculptures, cultural relics and handicrafts, sacrificial utensils, Miao King chairs and Miao King beds, which are dazzling. Climbing to the top of the building, you can have a panoramic view of the ancient city and feast your eyes.
Wohongqiao has experienced more than 500 years of historical vicissitudes, accumulated the history and culture of the ancient city, and contains touching legends. It integrates history, culture, landscape and folk customs, and is known as the cradle of ancient city history and culture. The beautiful Wohongqiao is a love bridge. At the foot of Guanyin Peak, in front of Duocui Building and in Hongqiao Building, people listened to the love story of Balang and Cui Hua and told the magical legend of Guanyin Rainbow. Taste sweet and loyal love ...
The first bridge in Fenghuang Ancient City, lying across Hongqiao, is well-deserved. Her magical legend, ingenious structure, beautiful scenery and quaint scenery make people immersed in poetry and linger.
