Where is the location of Panyu Jiangshi Ancestral Hall?

Panyu Jiangshi Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit in Guangzhou.

Jiang's Ancestral Hall is located in Nanyue Street, Nancun Town, Panyu District, Guangzhou. It is the largest ancestral hall in Shitou Village. It was built in the 15th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty, rebuilt and expanded the back seat in the 50th year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty, and rebuilt and raised the front seat in the 38th year of Jiaqing. Jiang Chixiang, the 20th generation descendant of the Jiang family, said that there are many stories behind this magnificent ancestral hall, which witnessed the history of Panyu people's resistance to foreign invaders.

Chiang's ancestral hall faces south, with an open terrace and a small river in front. The flagpole clip is firmly erected on both sides, which reads "Jiang Qian, the second outstanding Gong Sheng in the 29th year of Guangxu". The overall structure of the temple is three wells and two days, and the front is the main building. Sanjin is a traditional ancestral temple building on Longchuanling at the top of Hard Mountain, with a penetration depth of 48.95 meters and an area of 807.68 square meters.

Standing in front of the ancestral hall of Jiang family, you can see that the front seat is more than 6 meters high. Jiang Chixiang introduced that there is a story behind this. "In the village, we Chiang Kai-shek were often bullied by others because of poverty. Later, a feng shui master came to see it, saying that it was because the front seat of the ancestral temple was not high enough. After rising to the front seat of the ancestral hall, there is really no trouble for others to come to the Chiang family. " Brother Chi said with a smile that the front seat should be regarded as the highest front seat of the ancestral temple in Guangdong Province.

Nave witnessed the grand occasion of the dragon boat and lion dance family.

According to Jiang Chixiang's records, the ancestral hall has three rooms16.5m wide and two rooms/8.65m deep. Looking up at the main entrance of the ancestral hall, you can see an anchovy and a dragon boat ridge carved with gray plastic on the main ridge of the ancestral hall. Jiang Chixiang said that because the Chiang family is famous for rowing dragon boats and dancing lions for generations, a dragon bed will be carved on the front ridge of the roof.

Walking inside, there are granite terraces with a width of 4.5 meters, a depth of 4.3 meters and a height of 0.7 meters on both sides of the head door, and a pair of large stone drums stand on both sides of the door. Two pairs of flagpole clips were erected in Toumen Square, one of which was erected by Jiang Haolian, a member of the Chiang family who had participated in the anti-British riots. In addition to the East and West Drum Towers, there is a Qingyun Lane on both sides, each with a width of 2.3 meters. The front door is engraved with "Youlong" on the left and "Dafeng" on the right. The courtyard is 8.2 meters wide and 7.8 meters deep. There are corridors leading to nave on both sides, with wooden horizontal plaques in Tibetan and Wu Mi respectively. Two large mahogany horizontal plaques, engraved with gold characters, show your extravagance. Standing on the patio, you can also see exquisite gray sculptures on the porch, pink peaches and lifelike canaries carved on the wall with red background.

It is worth mentioning that there are countless trophies and flags and dozens of lion heads in the "Wu Mi" slant hall. Brother Chi proudly said, "Jiang's lion dance and dragon boat rowing have been passed down from generation to generation. I also rowed dragon boats when I was young. Lion dance is very famous in the province and is often invited to perform in other places. "

The width of the second entrance of nave is16.5m, and the depth of the third entrance is12.5m. In the middle of Ming Dynasty, a wooden horizontal tablet was hung in Shidetang, inscribed with "Qing Jiaqing 38" and "Hanlin Hu Jie Inscription". Behind the nave is the patio, and there are corridors on both sides leading to the back bedroom. "There was no back bedroom before. There are only two entrances to our ancestral temple, and the bedrooms at the back three entrances were originally Liang's. Later, the Chiang family exchanged land for land and built a back bedroom. "

After entering, the sleeping surface is three rooms wide, 16.3m, and three rooms deep, 12m. Fifteen beams are supported by two stone pillars and four round walls. Ancestor memorial tablets were placed in the Ming Dynasty, with rosewood and bat patterns as the main memorial tablets. But the reporter saw that the back bedroom is now surrounded on both sides, and the ground and walls are covered with moss. "This is surrounded by cultural relics protection units in the district, and now we are studying how to solve the problem of water inflow after the bed." Brother Chi said that the back bedroom has been flooded. In 2005, Jiang's relatives laid glazed tiles on the roof, but he never imagined that this did not solve the problem of roof leakage, but increased the burden on the beams. Long-term floods and the addition of glazed tiles caused some beams to bend.

"The scenery witnessed the history of fighting against foreign invaders"

It is understood that Chiang's ancestral hall was once the former site of the League Federation. Seven (original eight) woodcut prefaces recording the historical sites of Shajiao Yong Tuan General Administration are hung on the wall of Shidetang in the middle seat of the ancestral hall. The preface was written by Li Guangting, who participated in the resistance against the Hong Bing Uprising and founded the Shajiao Yong Ying General Administration in Xianfeng years, and by Huang Tianyuan, the deputy commander. As early as the Qianlong period, the Chiang family asked Chen Guanlou in Leizhou to make a preface to "Jiang's Ancestral Hall" and make it into a hanging screen to hang in the temple. Due to the erosion of the screen over the years, Li Guangting was asked to rewrite the preface, while Huang Tianyuan wrote the script and hung the screen in its original place.
