How to plant Dendrobium candidum at home?

Dendrobium candidum is an important multifunctional Chinese medicine. Herbal medicine ranks first in the "fairy medicine", but Dendrobium candidum is also a kind of ornamental plant, which mainly produces Yandang Mountain and Huoshan Mountain. There are many varieties of Dendrobium, not all Dendrobium officinale, but also common Dendrobium nobile and Dendrobium officinale. The protection of Dendrobium candidum focuses on the utilization of basin soil and reasonable illumination. Other management methods are more casual. Dendrobium candidum grows in the wild and has several characteristics: 1 the position where it can contact astigmatism. The wild environment is harsh, and strong light will directly kill Dendrobium.

It mainly grows in the crevices of stones, at the intersections of branches and soil under trees. After a long period of accumulation, there is humus soil. Or where the bark is peeling off. Do not produce stagnant water environment.

Observing the environment of Dendrobium candidum growing in the wild, Dendrobium candidum also has drought tolerance. But when growing, the supply of water can make Dendrobium candidum grow freely.

Compared with Dendrobium candidum in the above wild environment. Family planting can imitate the wild environment and realize "survival of the fittest".

1. Pot soil use: Plant it with fully decomposed thick bark, or use humus soil mixed with gravel, volcanic rock and ruby soil with large particle size, as long as it is loose, breathable, anhydrous and slightly acidic in PH value.

Here, I suggest using bark mixed with ruby soil as the function of cultivating basin soil. Bark and ruby soil can lock water after absorbing water. After saturation, other excess water can directly flow out of the basin without accumulating water. Moreover, ruby soil has the function of base fertilizer, which is an ideal soil for plants to take root.

Second, the method of watering: Dendrobium avoids stagnant water, and it needs a lot of water for growth. Combined with the color change of bark ruby soil, dry and wet alternate, which is permeable to Dendrobium. The use of bark mixed with red jade soil makes watering flexible. You can also combine the dry humidity with water immediately and drag it for two days 1 to let the water in the bark release water slowly. Combined with daily spraying, make the surrounding air moist and replenish water to the foliage branches.

Third, environmental problems: outdoor growth environment, back sun and astigmatism are the characteristics of Dendrobium candidum. Under the care of family members, avoid strong light and be in a weak astigmatism position. Exposure to light for three to five hours a day is enough. Ventilation is the condition to ensure the respiration of leaves and roots, so it must be well ventilated. Spray frequently to keep the surrounding air moist.
