Dragon paddock in Hakka paddock

Also known as semi-circular enclosed houses, they are mainly distributed in Xingning, Meijiang District and Meixian District of Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, and can be seen in Dongjiang River Basin and even Shenzhen in Pearl River Mouth Basin. Dragon circle is the most common type of enclosure, which is a typical embodiment of Hakka traditional ethics and geomantic philosophy. Longwei is usually built with its back to the hillside, and its structure is mainly the main hall or hall in the middle. Purlins are generally square structures, which are divided into Shangtang, nave and Xiatang (Sanjin). There are horizontal houses with the same square structure on the left and right sides of the main hall, referred to as "horizontal". From the purlin outward, the concentric semi-circular building structure is unfolded layer by layer, and each layer is called "enclosure" or "dragon enclosure". The number of stories surrounding dragons is generally equal to the number of rows of houses on one side. Ordinary Longwei houses include "Yi Long Wai with two halls and two horizontal walls" (with a nave in the middle and a row of horizontal walls on both sides, corresponding to a layer of Longwei), "Three halls and two horizontal walls", "Four horizontal walls" (one wall corresponds to two rows of horizontal walls), "Four horizontal walls" (two floors) and so on, which can reach as many as "ten horizontal walls and five walls" at most.

There is usually a semi-circular pond in front of the Dragon House, which makes it look like the pattern of Artest Pool: the land house is sunny and the water in front of it is cloudy. This is also the embodiment of Feng Shui theory in Hakka culture.
