Zhang's army fought fiercely with the gentry for several months, and finally the county magistrate Liu Sance was killed. In the first year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty, Zhang went to Niujiaozhai again, only to see the vegetation growing on the stone bag that he bowed down to his hometown three years ago like incense sticks inserted in front of the Buddha. At this time, he knew that the gods appeared.
Later, he led the army directly to the county seat and beheaded Gu Chunyi, the magistrate of a county. Later, people named the stone bag that Zhang missed his hometown as Wangxiang Stone. The stone that burns incense and worships is called censer stone. Now the vegetation here is like a candle arch Buddha, evergreen all the year round; The manger and drinking water tank were still well preserved for tourists to watch.
Niujiaozhai Giant Buddha is located in Niujiaozhai Mountain, Yingtou Village, Gaojia Town, north of the county seat, with an altitude of 760 meters. The north and south are connected by mountains in the west, close to Yingtou Reservoir and overlooking Sancha Lake in jianyang city. Murakami Cooper is lush and rugged; There is a bust of Maitreya Buddha carved on the cliff on the east side of the village, sitting west to east with hands folded, with a height of 15.85 m and a width of 1 1 m, which was completed in 707 AD.
Niujiaozhai terrain is a battleground for military strategists, and the strange stones in the mountains have their own names: Wangxiang Stone, censer Stone, Panhai Stone, Duck Stone, Granny Stone, etc. all have their own magical legends. According to legend, contemporary celebrities Chang Dong 'an, Pan Wenhua, Shilu and Feng Jianwu who grew up in Wengong Square near Niu Jiao Village have all come here to worship Buddha.
