Meihua Town is located in the northwest of Lechang City, Guangdong Province. Meihua Town borders Pingshi Town, Lechang City to the north and Pingshi Town to the east. Dayuan Town, Lechang City, borders Xiushui Town, Lechang City to the west and Yunyan Town, Lechang City to the south. It is one of the 268 central towns in Guangdong Province and the center of the "Four Places of Meili and Liaoning". Local residents mainly speak Hakka dialect, and it is the main Hakka settlement area in Lechang City.
