New research on the origin of Yunqiu Mountain Scenic Area

According to analysis, it is located on the Mabiyu Yunqiu Ancient Road. A hundred meters behind Houzhuang Village, Huangjin Valley is divided into two grand canyons. To the west is Chaijiagou, and only Huangjia'an has a village. The transportation is inconvenient and was ignored by people traveling on the ancient road in ancient times; to the east is the ancient road, which is busy with people and animals. When it reaches the Jia Family Tomb, it forks into two paths, the east and the west, and the two paths intersect with the top of Chenjia Mountain. Chenjiashan is a watershed, the starting point of villages in the southeastern basin, with Hongpo (also known as Huangpo) to the west and Jinjia Ridge to the east. The ancients took the first words of the two village names, red (or yellow) and gold, and collectively called them red gold or gold. Of course, the valley in this watershed should be called Hongjin Valley or Huangjin Valley, and because the valley is on an ancient road, the ancient road had different uses in different eras. In ancient times, people and animals were busy, so it was called Hongjin Valley. Gold was the hope of merchants traveling on the ancient road, so it was also called Huangjin Valley.

The Jia family tomb is located at the fork of the ancient road. It is surrounded by high mountains to the north and faces the valley where the two roads meet. In terms of Feng Shui, it is a typical Erlongxi jewelry site. It is this treasure land that contributed to the Jia family. Nearly three hundred years of glorious history for future generations. This tomb has been stolen many times, which is very sad.

The Jia family originally lived in Jinjialing. Relying on the unique advantages of ancient roads, he became rich and established the Xiangchuan Bank. Later, he moved to Putou, Xiaohe and other villages and became a famous Shanxi merchant in the west entrance of Yunqiu Mountain. Today, there is still a popular jingle from the Jia family that was used to sing the song: Putou Village, by the mouth of the valley (you), a wealthy man of the Jia family came out, and he did business in Lanzhou, and he was the shopkeeper every night (ya ya) when it was dark... ..

From the jingle, we recall the past, from the Mabiyu Yunqiu Ancient Road to the ancient Silk Road, in the middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River that stretches for thousands of miles, there were many Xiangchuan boats. The merchants of the Jia family travel on the ancient road. No matter morning or evening, they can rest in their own shops. They are all the masters here. How great and proud they are!

According to the memories of the old people: every year and festival, many strangers would come to Jia's house carrying gold and silver. The Jia family didn't know why. When asked why, they all said it was. After making a fortune on the Xiangchuan account, he was rewarded every drop of money. It can be seen from this that the Xiangchuan Hao founded by the Jia family was on the road to the west exit, and other merchants radiated the Xiangchuan Hao to the surrounding areas and even further...

Dongtianlian Fo'an'er Gou

An'er Gou is located beside the river southeast of Jinjialing Village on the Yunqiu Ancient Road. This ditch has a natural stone bank, which faces east and west, is long from north to south, narrow from east to west, and more than ten feet high. The top of the bank is as flat as a stone slab. There is a narrow cave in the northeast, where you can see the sky when you raise your eyes, commonly known as the Sky Cave. According to legend, it can have insight into the emperor and celestial phenomena. There are strange rocks protruding from the cliff in the center of the stone bank, shaped like a standing Buddha, which is lifelike. The Buddha's body faces north and south, and his steps are jade lotuses, standing horizontally on the bank. The dancing clouds and beasts beside the lotus are particularly spectacular.

Legend has it that this lotus Buddha gave birth to heaven and earth. He ate in the clouds in the morning, bathed in the sun at noon, and rested on the earth in the evening, practicing hard for many years. At noon that day, the sun was shining high, and the Buddha's body was held in a lotus. He emerged from the cliff with floating clouds facing the wall. He was ready to turn 180 degrees and stand up straight. Unexpectedly, when it turned 90°, a white light (the white light was called mourning by the locals) shot into the shore, and the floating clouds quickly dispersed and floated up along the sky cave. From then on, the Lotus Buddha remained motionless and lay horizontally on the bank.

Let’s talk about that white light. turn out to be. Chong'er, the son of Duke Xiang of Jin, fled for many days. Unable to bear the torture of hunger and exhaustion, Jie Zitui threw away his armor and wore linen clothes (clothes made of hemp in ancient times) mixed with Fu Chong'er to move forward. The white light on the linen clothes reflected into the shore. Jie Zitui and Chong'er saw the white smoke (white clouds) curling up on the shore and thought that someone was coming to beg for food to satisfy their hunger. Little did he know that there was no one here and there was no food. The spark of hope suddenly disappeared, and Chong'er was even more hungry. So Jie Zitui cut off the flesh from his thigh, served the king with food, and settled Chong'er. After Chong'er quenched his hunger, he saw that there was a cave in the sky here. Lotus Buddha stepped aside and said with emotion: Thousands of miles of ears are in peace, and there are two chariots (ju) of Buddhas in the cave. This is God's will! From then on, he turned the corner and finally became the hegemon. Later, people called the place where Jie cut his penis to serve the emperor as An'ergou; the place where he abandoned his armor was called Jinjia Ridge.

Mountain God Earth Temple

The Mountain God Earth Temple stands on the top of Chenjia Mountain, on the ancient mountain road connecting the Banershang and Liangping village committees. Sitting north and facing south, it is about six feet wide and nine feet long, facing the sky in front and back. It is said that the statue of the Mountain God and the Earth God is about two feet high, with tigers and leopards guarding it on both sides, both of which are carved from wood. There is a stage built on the west side not far from the temple, which is about the size of two earth temples.

Legend has it that in ancient times, caravans carrying packs traveled through the ancient roads. Whenever they came to a large stone in the east of the temple, commonly known as Broken Mountain Pass, there would be tigers and leopards lying there, motionless. After kowtowing, he suddenly disappeared, and everyone was frightened, saying: Tigers and leopards are dogs of the mountain god and land. After a group discussion, the caravan packers pooled their resources and funds to build the temple. Oddly enough, tigers and leopards have never blocked the way since the temple was built. Subsequently, the four nearby villages, Jinjialing in front, Jinjialing in back, Hongpo and Shiniugou, were divided into four communes to pay their respects in turn. The festival falls on the second day of the second lunar month every year.

Later, due to population changes and changes in village communities, the Four-Shee Temple also became one community: Qianjinjialing and Houjinjialing; Hongpo and Xinzhuang were one community; Qianzhuang and Houzhuang were added It is a temple with three shrines.
