Jetta water tank inlet

Jetta head water tank generally refers to radiator. Radiator belongs to automobile cooling system. The radiator in the engine water cooling system consists of water inlet chamber, water outlet chamber, main board and radiator core. The water inlet of the water tank is at the upper part of the water tank, and the drain valve is at the bottom of the water tank; There is antifreeze in it, and tap water can be added under special circumstances.

The replacement method of antifreeze is as follows:

1. First, park the vehicle for a period of time to prevent it from being scalded by antifreeze. The drain screw of antifreeze is at the bottom of the water tank. Find it and loosen it until the antifreeze no longer flows out of the drain pipe.

2. Put the vehicle in neutral operation and pour clear water into the antifreeze storage tank. The principle is to let clear water wash the original antifreeze until the discharged water has no color, at which time the old antifreeze is basically removed;

3. After the clean water is discharged, a drain valve can be installed to turn off the vehicle engine. Fill the filler with new antifreeze and keep the liquid level between the highest and lowest. It doesn't matter if you accidentally add more.

4. Ignite the engine again, because the pipeline air in the cooling system is further discharged at idle speed, so that the liquid level of antifreeze is reduced to a certain height;

5. Wait a few minutes. When the liquid level of antifreeze no longer moves, add antifreeze again between the two scale lines, and the replacement of antifreeze is completed.
