Guang'an, a prefecture-level city in Sichuan Province, is located in the eastern part of Sichuan Province. It is located in the humid monsoon climate zone of the mid-subtropical zone with four distinct seasons, a warm climate, abundant rainfall, and rich products.
The Jialing River and Qujiang River twist and turn into the Yangtze River, and Huaying Mountain, Tongluo Mountain, and Mingyue Mountain are distributed in parallel in the eastern part of the city; the total area is 6339.22 square kilometers, and it governs Guang'an District, Qianfeng District, Yuechi County, Wusheng County, and Linshui County take charge of Huaying City.

Guang'an is the leader of red tourism in Sichuan and an important destination for red tourism in the country. It is included in 12 "key red tourist areas" and 30 red tourism areas in the country. High-quality tourist routes, Comrade Deng Xiaoping’s Former Residence, Deng Xiaoping’s Former Residence Exhibition Hall and Huaying Mountain Guerrilla Site have been listed as one of the 100 “Red Tourism Classic Scenic Spots” that will be built nationally.
Deng Xiaoping’s Hometown Tourist Area is the only memorial park in the world with the theme of commemorating Comrade Deng Xiaoping. The park has nearly 20 important activity places where Comrade Deng Xiaoping lived during his youth, including the former residence of Comrade Deng Xiaoping, Hanlin Courtyard, and Beishan Primary School.
The Deng Xiaoping Former Residence Exhibition Hall is the only museum in China dedicated to commemorating Comrade Deng Xiaoping; the Deng Xiaoping Memorial Hall is the continuation and supplement of the Deng Xiaoping Former Residence Exhibition Hall, allowing people to understand Comrade Xiaoping from all angles.
