1. Option 1: Installation of the covered bridge elevator
(1) Description
(1) Most of the old buildings with brick-concrete structure face south, so the elevator room and covered bridge can be installed in the north direction of the building with a certain distance from the building;
(2) the brick wall of the window of the pedestrian stairwell is cut and enlarged to form the doorway leading to the covered bridge and elevator;
③ Use the window of the external wall at the corner of the walking stairs in the old building to open the doorway and lead to the covered bridge. Residents on each floor walk on the stairs of half a floor and enter the covered bridge;
(4) The second and third floors share a covered bridge, the third and fourth floors share a covered bridge, the fourth and fifth floors share a covered bridge, and the fifth and sixth floors share a covered bridge. Only four covered bridges are needed for a six-story brick-concrete building.
(2) Features
① Two units or three units can be used to share the elevator when adding an elevator to the covered bridge, which saves the elevator cost compared with the current method of adding an elevator to one unit.
② The covered bridge has simple structure and low construction cost;
③ Covered bridges and elevator rooms are built in the north direction of the building, and railings are used to protect the safety of pedestrians, which makes little noise to the lighting of the building
;
④ There is no adverse effect on fire fighting.
2. Option 2: Add elevators to the slab building
(1) Description
(1) Add a corridor to the south of the building, and add elevators to the middle or end of the corridor, which is similar to the slab building
;
(2) In each unit, the windows on the east or west side of the balcony of No.1, No.2 and No.3 households were demolished and converted into the doors of the newly-built corridor. In order to ensure safety, a south-facing safety door can be installed between the adjacent 2 units, so that idle people cannot easily enter the balcony door from the corridor;
③ install large windows and glass windows to the south of the newly-built corridor to ensure indoor lighting.
(2) Features
(1) The most prominent feature of this scheme is that you don't have to walk up and down the stairs to enter the corridor and elevator;
② Although residents living on the first floor don't need elevators to get in and out of the building, they also benefit from increasing the corridor area and reducing the resistance of installing elevators;
③ Compared with the current scheme of adding an elevator to a unit, this scheme also saves elevator costs and is safe.
(4) It is technically feasible to rebuild balconies and add corridors in the scheme of adding elevators to slab buildings, and the difficulty is not great, but the cost is much higher than that of building covered bridges.
