How to disassemble the old Jetta heater tank?

The disassembly method of the old Jetta warm air water tank mainly includes the following steps: 1, emptying the coolant in the cooling system. Remove the control panel. Detach the cable holder on the left side of the heater and remove the screw on the wire terminal. Unplug the wire connector behind the blower motor. 2. Disconnect the vacuum tube and lighting line behind the heater control device. Place a container under the engine and under the heater water supply pipe behind the cylinder head. Disconnect the heater water supply pipe behind the cylinder head. Disconnect the heater return hose on the thermostat housing, insert the pedal pump hose into the heater return pipe, press the cooling water in the water supply pipe into the container, and blow out the residual cooling liquid in the heater. Remove the two connecting bolts and separate the oil return pipe. 3. Pull out the right air pipe under the heater oil return pipe. Remove the two bolts on the other side to separate the water supply pipe from the flange joint. Pull out the air pipe under the water supply pipe on the left side of the heater. Remove the water supply pipe bracket on the left side of the firewall. Loosen the mounting bracket nut under the water supply pipe bracket. 4. Loosen the right mounting bracket nut under the return pipe. Remove the two mounting nuts at the top of the heater. Disconnect the control line of the blower motor switch. Disconnect the control line from the main damper on the heater side. Separate the heater from the mounting stud, then lift it and remove it from the vehicle. 5. Install in the reverse order of disassembly.
