Brief introduction of An Dehai in Qing Dynasty

An Dehai was a eunuch in the late Qing Dynasty.

An Dehai's ancestral home is Nanpi County, Hebei Province. When he was a grandfather, he moved to Tangzhuangzi Village, Qingxian County, Hebei Province. He was born in a poor family in Tang Zhuangzi, Qing County, Hebei Province. He is the second child in the family. Forced by life, he entered the palace as a teenager. After entering the palace, he was the eunuch around Emperor Xianfeng. An Dehai saw that Huang Chengen, the eunuch general manager, won the favor of the emperor, so he tried to get close to him and worshipped him as his teacher.

Because of An Dehai's cleverness, he soon got the favor of the lucky Jane of Xianfeng Emperor and Ye He Na. After Xianfeng's death, An Dehai made great contributions and became the confidant of Cixi. In the eighth year of Tongzhi, she was ordered by Cixi to buy clothes in the south of the Yangtze River and went to Shandong, where she was captured and executed by the Governor Ding Baozhen.
