Originated in Zhongliangshan District, Jinxiu County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
In Jinxiu county, it is the Heyuan section, called Zhongliang River, which has two sources. The south source comes from the east slope of Laoshan in Jinxiu County, and the north source comes from the east slope of Pinglaoling. Lin Xiu, Zhongshan and Chetian, which flow through Zhongliang Township, enter Mengshan County with a river length of 20.8 kilometers.
It is called Meijiang in mengshan county, from Tangchen Town, mengshan county to Sanjiang Village, Dongrong Township, tengxian. It is also called "Dashui River" and was called Tunjiang in ancient times.
Meijiang is the name of the upper reaches of Mengjiang River in mengshan county. According to the Guangxu edition of Yong 'an Mansion, "Meijiang Mansion is twenty miles south, like a crescent moon, because of its name. In ancient times, Meijiang refers to the Gu Mei River. Meijiang originated in Jinxiu Yao District, entered from the southwest of Bate Village in Xinxu Township, passed through Xinxu, Xihe, Mengshan Town, Huangcun, Hao Han, Tang Chen and other towns, left the country at the southern end of Danshan in Tang Chen Town and flowed into tengxian. The total length of Meijiang River is 107.5km, the flow of mengshan county County is 86.86 km, the total rainwater collection area is 1455.25 km2, and the domestic rainwater collection area is 12 14.8 km2, making it the largest river in mengshan county.
In tengxian, it enters from Tangquan Village in Dongrong Township, passes through Dongrong, Taiping and Peace, and flows into Jiangxun River in yujiang county Town.
