Four Common Geomantic Misunderstandings

In daily life, geomantic omen is everywhere, but it is often forgotten by people intentionally or unintentionally. Of course, there are also many people who are keen on Feng Shui, but they have not achieved the expected results, which is really regrettable.

So, what kind of misunderstanding do we have in dealing with Feng Shui? Please learn from Dong Yilin.

As a part of China traditional culture, the theory of environmental geomantic omen has lasted for more than 1000 years. As a discipline of understanding, adapting, utilizing and transforming nature, environmental geomantic omen takes man and environment as the research object, emphasizing "harmony between man and nature" and harmonious life. Under the wisdom crystallization and experience summary of ancient sages for thousands of years, Feng Shui has deeply influenced people's daily life and practice today. However, contemporary people still have many misunderstandings about environmental integrity, which can be summarized as the following four aspects:

The first is "seeking medical treatment without illness". Obviously, there is nothing wrong with the environmental layout of the house or office, but they just listen to the charlatans and then easily adjust the original pattern. As a result, the original good environmental layout was destroyed, and spending money without saying it was counterproductive, and the worse it got.

The second is "avoiding illness and avoiding medical treatment". Everyone knows the story of Bian Que and Cai Huangong. Cai Huangong was clearly ill, but he turned a deaf ear to Bian Que's repeated reminders, and finally he was terminally ill. Similarly, many people's living or working environment is very bad, which also affects their daily life, work, fortune and even health, but ignores the existence of unfavorable environmental patterns, and finally realizes it when it brings great misfortune to themselves or their families, and regrets it!

The third is "seeking quack doctors to cure diseases". Chinese medicine says "suit the right medicine", that is, you have to find the right person to see a doctor and treat the disease with the right medicine, which requires the doctor to be a good doctor. So is the adjustment of environmental landscape layout. We must find professional experts and qualified teachers to discover the disadvantages of environmental layout, and then use effective means to resolve the disadvantages. Therefore, the environmental layout must find the right person to achieve good results. Otherwise, the result will only get worse and worse, and it will be counterproductive.

The fourth is "better late than never". There is a wise saying in the Doctrine of the Mean: "Everything is established in advance, and it is abolished if it is not predicted." Whether in life or work, it is much wiser to nip the potentially unfavorable environmental layout in the bud and wait until it brings us disadvantages and causes huge losses before taking remedial measures. But then again, "better late than never" is much wiser.
