Gongwangfu problem

It is said that there are two Long Mai in Beijing, one is Longtu, the Long Mai of the Forbidden City; One is the hose, which is on the first line of Houhai and Beihai, and Gongwangfu is just on the connecting line of Houhai and Beihai, that is, on the Long Mai, so the feng shui is very good. China's top ten marshals, Guo Moruo and others all lived in the annex of Gongwangfu, and they all lived for a long time. It is said that the place with the largest longevity in Beijing is near Gongwangfu, which is a treasure trove of geomantic omen. Chairman Mao is very proficient in Feng Shui, and he is full of praise for this place.

The ancients took water as wealth, and there was water everywhere in Gongwangfu. The water of the largest lake pavilion was introduced from Yuquan Lake (only the emperor can quote the water there), and it only went in without flowing out, so it is more in line with the saying that Feng Shui collects money.

Other scenery

1, stones in the hospital

There are many strange stones in Gongwangfu Courtyard, and two points are worth mentioning. One is a stone standing at the door, slender and towering, about two meters high, shaped a bit like a child. Little Shenyang likes it very much and stands at the door. First, he stood on the fence to stop the invasion of evil spirits and the outflow of wealth.

In another story, Xiao Shenyang has only one son in his life, and the others are daughters, so he is very much looking forward to his son. This stone is very much like a boy, so it is called Songzi Stone, hoping to bring him sons, many children and grandchildren and a prosperous family.

Most of the other stones are shipped from the south and have strange shapes. Workers pushed them down from the ice along the canal in winter. If you can't finish pushing it in the first year, put it by the river, and then push it in the second year when the river freezes. * * * The building took seven years to complete.

The ancients were rich in stones. At that time, the Palace used the most stones in Wang Fu, more than the Palace. What I admire most is the craftsmanship of the ancients. There was no cement at that time. The ancients used glutinous rice and alum as adhesives and then made stones into various shapes.

2. Ten thousand bats

All kinds of bats can be seen everywhere in Gongwangfu. The ancients were superstitious, believing that bats and blessings are homophonic and can bring good luck. As a result, the bonsai, flowers and stones in the yard were all made into bats. Small Shenyang is greedy and superstitious. In Gongwangfu, all kinds of stones are similar in shape to bats, and bats are everywhere on the doors and eaves, with a total of 9999 bats. With the blessing of Emperor Kangxi, all pay tribute to the hospital!

This shows the degree of superstition in small Shenyang.

3. The figure of Wu Tong College

In the palace, there is a separate small courtyard, which is full of tall buttonwood trees, and the shadows of the trees are swaying. It is very beautiful. When the wind blows, the leaves swish, like the delicate cries of women and children, so it is called Wutong Shuyuan.

This beautiful little yard brings people an inconspicuous story. Wutongyuan is the cold palace of Gongwangfu, where all the wives and concubines that Xiao Shenyang didn't like were locked up and eventually died of depression. The yard is gloomy, people get goose bumps as soon as they enter, and the air conditioner attacks people. Nobody dared to come in before. At night, people often hear women crying here. During a thunderstorm, many people have witnessed the figure of A Qing women appearing in the yard, and most of the shadows appeared on the threshold.

After liberation, when a night watchman passed by here, he happened to see an A Qing woman crying on the wall. He was scared out of his wits and didn't know how to manage the duty room. On the same day, the night watchman fell ill and alarmed the State Council. The State Council sent many experts and doctors to see what was wrong with him, and finally the man was scared to death.

Therefore, the State Council sent experts and relevant personnel of the Ministry of Public Security to stay here for a long time to solve these mysteries. Experts finally came to the conclusion that the zhaobi was covered with nitrate because of the hot and humid cloudy days. On a thunderstorm night, a woman was crying in front of the zhaobi, so nitrate and lightning reflected and left a figure on the zhaobi. Therefore, when there is a thunderstorm in the future, the shadow of women will reappear, not ghosts and gods.

Although experts say so, there are still many things that cannot be explained scientifically.

Later, in order to calm public opinion, a certain department of the state sponsored a film called "The Ghost of Wang Fu" to explain this phenomenon. But a lot of incredible things happened during the filming. For example, you can see that the camera was placed on the doorstep, but it disappeared in the blink of an eye and then appeared on the wall.

Later, due to disrepair and serious corrosion, people dared to visit the yard.

4. kiosk

Small Shenyang built a small pavilion in Gongwangfu, and invited friends to drink, entertain and recite poems in spring, summer and autumn. Small Shenyang usually sits in the south. The ground of the pavilion is paved with big stones. The wonder of this pavilion is that Xiao Shenyang has scratched several water tanks on the stone. The bubbling water pushes the glass forward, and the water flow speed is very slow. Whoever floats to the glass will write a poem, and if he can't do it, he will be fined three cups.

The shapes of these water tanks are also exquisite. From the east, the water tanks form a water character, and from the south, it is a birthday character. Alas, little Shenyang is so clever!

A rockery has been built in the park, all of which are made of Taihu Stone (Taihu Stone is characterized by strong water absorption and will be covered with moss when it meets too much water). A pool was built in front of the rockery to divert water, so there is running water all the year round, so the stone is covered with moss, hence the name Didi Cui Yan. There are two faucets on both sides of the pool, with the faucets facing each other and the dragon ball in the middle. It's strange that I can only see the dragon's tail, but I can't see the faucet. What is a rockery for? It turns out that Xiao Shenyang designed Long Mai and the beaten tail in a cave under Didi Cui Yan, and the right center of Long Mai is the Confucius Monument. When Jiaqing's property was seized, he wanted to take away the prayer tablet, but that would violate Long Mai, which was the most taboo of the ancients, so he ordered people to seal all the prayer tablets with stones to prevent outsiders from seeing them.

Yuquan Lake

At that time, little Shenyang took advantage of the emperor's favor to divert water from Yuquan Lake to Gongwangfu privately, and built an artificial lake with a pavilion in the middle of the lake, which was the place where little Shenyang fished.
