He has no immortal life, but he can become a god. He presides over the gods. He never shuts himself in. After his death, he is still a god. There is a folk saying that Jiang Taigong is hiding from the gods here. This is a good proof. Historically, before Mr Guan became the patron saint, people all worshipped Jiang Ziya.
Second, Jiang Ziya and Jiang Ziya have lost their priesthood. After all the official posts were enfeoffed, only the Jade Emperor remained. He thought that the position of Jade Emperor must belong to him, so he happily announced in his hometown dialect: "Jade Emperor, let's come". Before the words were finished, a man in rags had sat on the throne of the Jade Emperor. This person's name is Zhang Qi.
The pronunciation of "za" and "zhang" in Jiang Ziya dialect is the same. Although Jiang Ziya is a little angry, it is no joke to seal the gods. In front of many immortals, everything has been doomed.
So the beggar Zhang He came to be the jade emperor, but Jiang Ziya didn't get any official position, not even a fairy, but only became a mortal prime minister.
Third, Jiang Ziya doesn't want to be named as a deity, which is a very helpless choice for those who cultivate immortals. Anyone who can't make the list of gods doesn't want to be on the list of gods. Once on the list of gods, although he said he would not die, he could be resurrected with the list of gods even if he was killed. However, it also means that there is no chance to advance with the avenue, and you can only rely on incense to improve your skills.
