First edition (1957- 1973)
The first edition of the logo is a sun that radiates 16 rays (different from the logo of the Asian Games), symbolizing that beautiful TV broadcasts radiate all over Hong Kong.
Second edition (1973- 1982)
Logo is like a yellow TV screen (the four sides of a rectangle are not straight, but have radians), and it says "RTV”(Rediffusion TV) in the middle, indicating that this is a TV medium. The logo is designed to compete with the logo of competitor TVB.
Third Edition (1982- 1989)
Qiu Degen renamed "Li TV" as "Asia TV" and changed it to a new logo in the form of copper coins (the same as Qiu's Far East Group logo). The symbol "money" symbolizes wealth. However, the symbol of "money" is accused of being old-fashioned.
The fourth edition (1989-2007)
Lin Baixin bought all the shares of ATV owned by Qiu Degen for more than 200 million yuan, and then replaced the Taiwan emblem. At first, the Taiwan emblem was designed in the shape of blue, green and red wool, but this wool has "gaps" and edges, so in 199 1, it was filled by feng shui experts and changed into a round edge, which looks like a windmill, and it is well-intentioned, smooth and adopts the three primary colors of blue, green and red. It symbolizes the unity of all ATV employees and their joint efforts for ATV. There are three overlapping English letters "A", "T" and "V" hidden in the logo.
The emblem is also accused of being wrapped with ribbons of three colors. With the approval of the Feng Shui Master, ATV's performance will be entangled in many debts. This is the longest logo in ATV's history, and it is still used in Taiwan Province.
Fifth Edition (2007-present)
On June 8, 2007, 10000, ATV spent over 10 million yuan to revise and launch the logo designed by designer Sandy MacMillan. The logo is dominated by the orange-red English letter "A", and its shape is triggered by the infinite symbol (∞) and "Mobius band", which means that its TV program is infinitely creative, while "A" stands for "asia" and "A-level". Orange-red represents youthful vitality and positive face (see overview, special signs during festivals are shown in the extended album "Special signs during ATV festivals" at the bottom of the entry).
