Shahe Primary School in Wanzhou District of Chongqing was founded in the spring of 1932 (the 20th year of the Republic of China). It was originally the Shahezi Primary School in fourth area, Wanxian County (also known as the Third Primary School in Wanxian County). The school was located in anrakuji, Wan Hu City, and its first principal was Liu Shiqi.
1947 changed its name to the second central school in Wuliang Township, 1949 changed its name to the third primary school in Wuliang Township, 195 1 changed its name to the first primary school in Shahe County, Wanxian County, Sichuan Province, 1978.
1980 was designated as the first batch of key primary schools in Sichuan province; 1988 was renamed Wanxian Experimental Primary School in Sichuan Province; 1993 was renamed Tiancheng Experimental Primary School in Wanxian City, Sichuan Province; 1997 was renamed tiancheng experimental primary school in Wanzhou district, Chongqing. In 2005, it was renamed Shahe Primary School in Wanzhou District, Chongqing.

Tiancheng Central Primary School in Wanzhou District of Chongqing was founded on 1945. Located in the center of Tiancheng Town, Wanzhou District, in the triangle of the intersection of Wan Kai Road and Heba Road, it is adjacent to Chongqing Shixian Taibai Winery in the north, Rainbow Cable Factory in the east and Three Gorges Normal School in the west.
The school has a long history and has changed its name several times during its development. In July 2005, the original Tang Fang Central Primary School, Dongjia Central Primary School and Gucheng Central Primary School were integrated and named as Tiancheng Central Primary School in Wanzhou District, Chongqing.
