Glory belongs to subtropical monsoon humid climate, with no severe cold in winter and no intense heat in summer. It has four distinct seasons, with obvious mountain climate characteristics, forest coverage rate of 39.8%, annual average temperature of 15℃, frost-free period of 280 days in high altitude areas and 350 days in low altitude areas. There are abundant mineral resources such as coal, iron, sulfur, porcelain clay and shale in the territory. The proven coal reserves reach 200 million tons, which is one of the key coal bases planned by the county party committee and the government. There are abundant pyrite resources, and the southwest sulfur production site meeting was held in Rongguang on 1979. There are unique brewing landscape resources. The water quality, soil and air along the coast of my hometown, Panlong River, contain a variety of microorganisms needed for brewing and fermentation. It is the "second Maotai" to develop the brewing industry. The once brewed "Dulong Daqu" won the "Golden Cup Award" of the first Yishou Cup liquor in Guizhou Province.
Especially with the construction of Rongguang Coal Mine, Rongguang 1 10KV Substation, Tongzi-Rongguang Secondary Highway, Rongguang Town Development, Hekou Reservoir and Town Water Plant with an annual output of10.2 million tons, Rongguang economy has developed rapidly. Focusing on the development idea of "strengthening the township with coal industry, establishing the township with ecological agriculture, prospering the township with tertiary industry, and living the township with market towns", the township party committee and government have made every effort to attract investment and grasp projects, and strive to make Glory a "treasure house of industry, hometown of medicinal materials, adventure paradise and emerging famous town".
