Confucius geomantic omen

Because Confucius thought that the family cemetery was related to the rise and fall of future generations, and Confucius' cemetery was not so perfect at that time, but it still needed a river. However, Qin Shihuang accidentally dug a river in Confucius' cemetery at that time, making the geomantic omen perfect, and Confucius' disciples would naturally say that it was a good dig.

The cemetery of Confucius' home is called Kong Lin, where Confucius and his descendants are buried, with a population of100000. More than two thousand years later, Kong Lin is still well preserved. Some people think that Kong Lin is well preserved because of its good feng shui. Even if there is any disaster, it is said that the plants in Kong Lin are well preserved and will not wither. There are no snakes, no insects, no mice and no ants. The river is very clear.

According to historical records, when Confucius was 73 years old, knowing that his time was coming, he took his disciples to Qufu to find a cemetery. Later, Confucius discovered a treasure trove of geomantic omen by the Surabaya River in the north of the city, and told later generations that he would be buried here in the future.

After the death of Confucius, his descendants buried him here, but the cemetery was not perfect. It was not until 270 years later that Confucius' cemetery was perfected because of Qin Shihuang. The reason why Qin Shihuang wanted to destroy Confucius' cemetery at that time was actually because Qin Shihuang burned books and buried Confucianism at that time.

Qin Shihuang later copied Confucius' home directly, and in order to destroy the geomantic omen of Confucius' cemetery, he would let his men dig Confucius' cemetery directly. However, it didn't take long for the river channel of Confucius cemetery to be dug, the Qin Dynasty perished and the Han Dynasty was established. Since then, due to the high esteem of Confucianism, Confucius' disciples have a high status, and Confucius' cemetery has been repaired later.

But the descendants of Confucius thought that the river dug by Qin Shihuang at that time was correct. Although Qin Shihuang's purpose was to destroy the geomantic omen in the cemetery, he did not expect it to be beneficial to the geomantic omen in Confucius' cemetery. So Confucius' disciples would say that Qin Shihuang dug well.
