1, cultural environment
Leech farms should be built in an environment with good shelter from the wind and proper lighting. Meet the light needed for leech growth in spring and autumn, and then do a good job of cold protection in winter.
When we build a farm, we should not only build it reasonably according to the living habits of water quality, but also ensure that the water quality, temperature, humidity and light are suitable to create a good growth environment for leeches. It is also necessary to reduce the cost as much as possible, reduce the cost and improve the breeding efficiency.
2, seedling placement
If you are in the countryside, you can catch leech seedlings from the wild. When breeding, we should choose the best varieties. At present, the most common cultured species are mainly leeches. Leech has strong growth ability, strong reproductive ability and relatively stable output. The general breeding period of leeches is concentrated in June, so the stocking time of larvae should be controlled in spring.
3. Bait management
Leeches mainly feed on snails and plankton, and generally choose the meat and viscera of various animals as bait. And it is necessary to add a proper amount of crop stalks, and some common snails can be added to provide natural bait for leeches.
4. Daily management
Leeches have strong disease resistance, so our main management work in aquaculture is to regulate water quality. Although wild leeches have no strict requirements on water quality, if the water quality changes too much under artificial breeding, it will have a great impact on their growth and reproduction.
5. Temperature control
When cultivating, the water temperature should be controlled at about 20-30 degrees, and certain dissolved oxygen should be ensured. If there is hypoxia, it is necessary to inject water or oxygen in time.
