Principle of Passat 1.8T Automatic Air Conditioning

Dynamically adjust according to each sensor.

The principle of the automatic control system is to output control signals according to the relevant switch signals such as the indoor temperature, evaporator temperature and engine coolant temperature detected by each sensor, and control the working states of radiator fan, condenser fan, compressor clutch, blower motor and air control motor, so as to realize the automatic control of the indoor temperature.

Automatic temperature control ATC of automobile air conditioner, commonly known as constant temperature air conditioning system. Once the target temperature is set, ATC system will automatically control and adjust it to keep the temperature inside the car at the set value.

The automatic control system consists of an internal temperature sensor, an external air temperature sensor, an evaporator temperature sensor, a sunlight sensor, an air control motor, a heater, a condenser fan and an internal control device.

Pay attention to the use of air conditioning system.

1. The vehicle air conditioning system is basically shut down in winter. Before starting for the first time, check the belt tightness, and let the engine idle for a period of time to observe whether it starts normally and check the cooling effect during operation. If it is not started or the cooling effect is not ideal, it should be checked at the service station.

2. The air-conditioning system is easy to inhale dust and bacteria during use. After long-term use, the air-conditioning system should be dusted and disinfected to ensure the health of the people in the car.

3. Observe the engine water temperature after turning on the air conditioner for a period of time. If the water temperature is high, it may be caused by the dirty surface of the condenser (such as catkins and dust), the electronic fan not working and the pressure controller not working. If the above problems occur in use, the air conditioning system should be stopped in time and repaired at the service station.
