Zhu Yuanzhang ordered people to dig up Liu Bowen's grave. When he saw a book, he was immediately ashamed.

Introduction: Liu Bowen, the founding hero of the Ming Dynasty, was not only proficient in the art of war, but also an expert in predicting events. He assisted Zhu Yuanzhang, the founder of the Ming Dynasty, to found the Ming Dynasty. In Zhu Yuanzhang's mind, Liu Bowen was not comparable to ordinary people. He called him "my son-in-law" many times and regarded him very highly. Among the people, Liu Bowen is as famous as Zhuge Liang, so there is a saying that "Zhuge Liang, the military advisor of the former dynasty, and Liu Bowen, the military advisor of the later dynasty".

After the world stabilized, Liu Bowen still won the favor of Zhu Yuanzhang and was named Uncle Cheng. One day, Liu Bowen had something to report and rushed to the palace to meet the emperor. At this time, Zhu Yuanzhang was eating sesame cakes, so he decided to test him. He covered the sesame cake he had just taken a bite with a bowl, and said to Liu Bowen: "Ai Qing is a genius in the world, can you figure out what is under the bowl?"

Liu Bowen smiled slightly, Then he replied: "Half like the sun and half like the moon, it was once bitten by a golden dragon. If I guess correctly, there is a sesame cake under the bowl." Zhu Yuanzhang praised Liu Bowen on the surface, but he felt inexplicable fear in his heart. As time went by, Zhu Yuanzhang's fear not only did not weaken, but became stronger. However, he believed that Liu Bowen was the founding hero of the country and was valuable, so he did not touch him.

In 1375 AD, Liu Bowen contracted a cold and used this as an excuse to resign and return to his hometown. As soon as he returned to his hometown, Zhu Yuanzhang sent Hu Weiyong to bring the imperial doctor to Liu Bowen's home, and asked the imperial doctor to prescribe several decoctions for him. Surprisingly, the originally ordinary wind and cold became more and more severe, and Liu Bowen died not long after. Many people suspect that Liu Bowen's death is not that simple and may be related to Zhu Yuanzhang, but this is just speculation.

Before Liu Bowen passed away, he found a geomantic treasure land for himself and asked his family to put a copy of "The Law of the Ming Dynasty" in his coffin. Soon after, Zhu Yuanzhang heard that Liu Bowen had found a "dragon cave" for himself, and he was very scared. He knew that Liu Bowen had this ability. If he really did this, the country might not belong to the Zhu family. So, he personally led people to Liu Bowen's hometown and asked the soldiers to dig up his coffin and destroy the so-called dragon's lair.

When Liu Bowen's coffin was opened, the soldiers found the "Da Ming Law" and took it to Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang. When Zhu Yuanzhang saw the "Da Ming Code", he was immediately ashamed, because the "Da Ming Code" was compiled by his own order. It contained a provision about punishing tomb robbers, that is, "Those who open the coffin and see the corpse will die." Zhu Yuanzhang believed that his behavior of digging Liu Bowen's tomb was no different from those of tomb robbers. He could not abide by the "Da Ming Law", so how could he convince the people of the world?

Therefore, Zhu Yuanzhang ordered Liu Bowen to be reburied and took special care of his family. After returning to the palace, Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang warned the civil and military officials of the court that no one was allowed to say anything wrong about Liu Bowen in the future, otherwise he would be severely punished. It can be seen from this that Liu Bowen had already figured out the cemetery that Zhu Yuanzhang would dig, and deliberately placed the "Da Ming Law" in the coffin, thereby preserving the cemetery.
