I checked the relevant regulations of gas cylinders, and now the standards are not the same, so I will list them one by one for your reference.
1. According to Article 45 of the Regulations on Safety Supervision of Gas Cylinders (repealed, still available for reference) issued by the State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, units storing gas cylinders should have special warehouses to store gas cylinders, which should meet the requirements of the Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings, and the number of gas cylinders stored should meet the relevant safety regulations.
2. Chapter III of Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings stipulates (calculated according to fire risk):
(1) In the place where acetylene bottles are used, the storage capacity of acetylene gas shall not exceed 30m_ (equivalent to 5 bottles, which refers to acetylene bottles with a nominal volume of 40L). When the storage capacity of acetylene gas exceeds 30m_, a separate storage room should be isolated with non-combustible materials, and one side should be fixed wall.
(2) When the storage capacity of acetylene gas exceeds 240m_ (equivalent to 40 bottles), a storage warehouse with a fire resistance rating not lower than Grade II should be built, and the fire protection distance from the building should not be less than 10m, otherwise a firewall should be set up to separate it.
3. According to AQT7009 "Standardization Specification for Safety Production of Machinery Manufacturing Enterprises" 4.2.27.4.3.
The number of gas cylinders placed in the same place on the job site shall not exceed 5. More than 5 bottles but not more than 20 bottles, fire and explosion prevention measures should be taken. If there are more than 20 bottles, a secondary gas cylinder warehouse must be set up.
4. According to 4.4.6 of CNPC standard QSY1365-201Specification for Safety Management of Gas Cylinders.
(1) In the place where acetylene cylinders are used, the storage capacity of acetylene gas shall not exceed 30M_ (equivalent to five acetylene cylinders with a nominal volume of 40L);
(2) When the storage capacity of acetylene gas exceeds 30M_, a separate storage room should be isolated by using incombustible materials, and one side should be a fixed wall;
(3) When the storage capacity of acetylene gas exceeds 240M_ (equivalent to 40 bottles), a storage warehouse with a fire resistance rating not lower than Grade II should be built, and the fire protection distance from the building should not be less than 10 m, otherwise a firewall should be set up to separate it.
5. Because the Safety Supervision Regulation for Dissolved Acetylene Gas Cylinders has expired, based on the principle of strict management, it is currently determined that if your company has not built a gas cylinder warehouse, the on-site acetylene storage capacity shall not exceed 5 bottles.
Six, air cylinders, vacuum cylinders should be stored separately, in-use cylinders and spare cylinders should be stored separately, and anti-dumping measures should be set up. Note that flammable gas cylinders and combustion-supporting gas cylinders are not allowed to be stored together.
To sum up, in order to implement the deployment of the State Council Safety Committee's national urban gas safety investigation and rectification work, further improve the safety supervision of gas cylinders, reduce potential safety hazards, build a safe bottom line, and effectively improve people's sense of acquisition, happiness and security, this scheme is formulated.
Legal basis: Article 45 of the Regulations on Safety Supervision of Gas Cylinders stipulates that units storing gas cylinders should have special warehouses to store gas cylinders. The gas cylinder warehouse shall meet the requirements of Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings, and the storage quantity of gas cylinders shall meet the relevant safety regulations.
