After the renovation, Hushan and Baiquan Mountain Park cover an area of ***536.8 hectares; During the construction period, the total investment is more than 56 million yuan to build a comprehensive park integrating culture, leisure and entertainment.
Xinhushan Park has nine districts, namely: Damen Waterfall District, Monument District, Botanical Garden District, Hushi District, Hushan Recreation Area, Zhao Jia Courtyard and Laotan District. General LAM Raymond and the ruins of the ancient city. Damen Waterfall is a large waterfall landscape, with water pouring down from 20 meters high, forming a waterfall landscape. Monument Square is a tree-lined square with trees and Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica. Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica and Pinus tabulaeformis were planted. There are seven landscapes in the Botanical Garden, which are arranged in the monument in four seasons: Hushan 0, Baihua Blooming, Hushan Autumn, Winter Snow Pine Forest, Peach Blossom Garden, Fragrant Garden and Acacia Garden, to express the memory and reverence of future generations for the martyrs. Plastic stones are added around the Tiger Stone, and the Tiger Cave is rebuilt and restored to its original appearance. The He Long Campaign Memorial Hall and Sculpture Square are set in front of the cave. In the clearing south of Hushan, there is a courtyard named Zhaojiayuan, and there is a monument at the entrance of the courtyard, which records the historical changes of Zhaojiayuan, such as 1898 and Jining-0/931. Adjacent to Zhao Jia Courtyard is Hushan Amusement Park, located at the southwest gate of Hushan Park, and there is a residential area nearby, which is convenient for nearby residents to play nearby. At the same time, it forms a one-stop tourism system for catering and entertainment with Zhao Jia Siheyuan. On the mountain facing the south of Hushan Mountain, there is Longtan, in which there is a fountain of dragon spray sculpture. The water in Longtan flows from south to north in the form of a stream, and then flows into another pool near the botanical garden along the slope, which will nourish the four seasons landscape of Hushan.
Hushan is located in the southern suburbs of Bengbu City, about one kilometer long from east to west and three kilometers long from north to south. The official name marked on the map is Taoshan, but the locals call it Hushan. Maybe it's shaped like a crouching tiger. To the north of the foot of the mountain is Donghai Avenue, which extends more than 20 kilometers from east to west. It is an east-west passage in Bengbu City, sponsored by Bengbu Cigarette Factory, so it is named Donghai Avenue. "Donghai" is a brand with a long history in Bengbu Cigarette Factory. Bengbu City is concave, Donghai Avenue connects Bengbu East and West at the upper end (south) of the concave shape, and Hushan is located above (south) the middle point of the concave shape.
The word "concave" in Bengbu, a treasure trove of geomantic omen, is the air force Bengbu airport. Because the airport occupies the largest piece of land in the city center, Bengbu has to develop eastward and westward under the situation that there is an airport in the south and the Huaihe River in the north. In 2002, the airport moved, and a large area of land in the city center was vacated, becoming a new urban area developed by Bengbu. Hushan is just south of the airport, facing the old airport across Donghai Avenue. From north to south: Huaihe River, downtown, airport, Donghai Avenue and Hushan.
In fact, the original name of Hushan is not Hushan, but Dulongshan. Legend has it that it is a one-eared dragon in the Huaihe River. Seeing a refined spider endangering the villagers in the west of Xujiaqiao, I went out to get the spider and turned it into this mountain.
To the south of Hushan is a ridge extending forward from the north of Chen Liang's home, named East Dragon Claw; In the south of Shanxi, that is, the northeast of Taodian, it is folded eastward by a ridge called Xilongzhao. There is a slightly convex oval flat between the two claws, called Longkou. There is a south-facing cave on the west side of the top of the mountain, which looks like an ear, like an open tiger's mouth, and can accommodate several people. It is called Long Er Cave. Climbing to the top of Yanshan Mountain, you can see the shapes of Tiger Mountain and Wang Xiaoshan (also known as Dangshan Mountain) at close range, just like a dragon with claws and spiders, so it was called Du 'er Longshan locally in the early years.
During the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, in order to please Zhu Yuanzhang and stir up trouble, the local people went to court and said that the dragon spider was fake and the invasion of the imperial tomb (the Ming tomb in Fengyang South Township) was true. The emperor ordered a temple to be built on the dragon tongue, first named Jingci Temple, and later renamed Hushan Temple to save the dragon. Du 'er Longshan was renamed Tiger Mountain, and Long 'er Cave was renamed Tiger Cave.
