Grave robbers have no culture, so it is not difficult to find ancient tombs. Why not an educated archaeologist?

The history of China is really too long. In this winding historical river, countless powerful people have been born. As a master, after death, we can't be like ordinary people. We must hold a grand funeral with gold, silver and jewels so that the owner can continue to enjoy it underground. However, the dead can't take away wealth, but grave robbers came into being.

The era has continued to this day, and the business of robbing tombs is still circulating in the hands of some people. Archaeologists who made it to protect cultural relics can be said to hate it. In our impression, grave robbers often get the upper hand, leaving archaeologists with an empty shell. Is that really the case? Let's analyze it carefully:

First, the quantity is not equal. As for grave robbers, it was once said on the Internet that there are hundreds of thousands of grave robbers in China, not counting those part-time grave robbers who improvise. Although the statement is somewhat exaggerated, it is enough to reflect the number of grave robbers. The training period of archaeologists is much longer, and it often takes years or even decades to train an independent talent. Therefore, under the crushing of an absolute number, archaeologists who take the elite route are naturally unable to cope with the challenge of grave robbers.

Second, feng shui. Feng shui has been passed down from our ancestors to today, but many things have been lost. More importantly, many people don't believe it, nor do archaeologists who pay attention to science (of course, this only refers to the vast majority). Uneducated grave robbers often like to study this set of things. Even to say the least, Feng Shui is really superstitious, but you can't control the beliefs of the ancients! Their graves are all located according to geomantic omen, and you can often create miracles by following the map.

For example, Yao Yuzhong, who was arrested two years ago and was called "the ancestor of grave robbery", has been engaged in grave robbery for more than 30 years, with more than 200 grave robberies involving 500 million yuan. He claimed to watch the celestial phenomena at night, but it was finally discovered that this guy was a primary school student and could not read all the words, but he liked to study Feng Shui since he was a child, so this Feng Shui is really a great weapon to find the tomb!

Third, the issue of inheritance. Tomb raiding can be traced back to Wu Zixu at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period. Inherited for thousands of years, there are naturally some secrets of grave robbery that are not known to outsiders. Like the familiar Luoyang shovel, there must be someone who has this ability today. Archaeology, however, has not appeared for a long time and has little experience.

Fourth, the question of time. Grave robbers existed in every dynasty, and many tombs were targeted just a few days after they were built. It was very convenient for them to commit crimes. After thousands of years, archaeologists will open ancient tombs, and natural thieves will also rob them! Of course, we don't mean to belittle experts by listing so many things, but we just want to show that the archaeological department has various irreversible disadvantages, which will lead to the illusion that "archaeologists are not as good as grave robbers". Our current archaeology uses various high-tech equipment, such as remote sensing, geomagnetism, sonar and so on. And we know everything about the ancient tomb.
