Hua Tuo, Dong Feng and Zhang Zhongjing are also called "Jian 'an Three Magical Doctors", but their status is far from being comparable to that of even the most ordinary children of bureaucrats. In the History of the Three Kingdoms, Hua Tuo was included in Biography of Ji Fang, from which we can see Hua Tuo's position and that of a doctor.
Hua Tuo wrote in "Biography of the Three Kingdoms Ji Fang" that "Pei Xiang and Chen Gui offered their filial piety, but Qiu Huangwan refused". Hua Tuo described here seems to be an out-of-the-world expert who has no intention of being an official, but looking back, there is a saying that "if you are a scholar, you will eventually regret yourself." Since Hua Tuo regretted becoming a doctor, Chen Gui and others recruited Hua Tuo as an official, why didn't he accept it? There are two possibilities, one is that the official position is too low, and the other is that he was young and frivolous. Both of these situations are possible, and what is certain is that Hua Tuo is not willing to be a doctor honestly.
Later, Cao Cao learned about Hua Tuo's magical skills. "When you smell it, you will call it and it will always be by your side." Every time Mao gets wind, he is confused and dizzy. It can be seen that Hua Tuo worked under Cao Cao for a period of time, but Cao Cao obviously only regarded him as a doctor. Hua Tuo considered himself a scholar and naturally felt that his ambition was difficult to be rewarded.
After that, something happened. "The Biography of Hua Tuo in the Later Han Dynasty" records: "Human nature is evil, it is difficult to be proud, and it is shameful to see a doctor; When I go home again, I want to go home, so I ask for something back. Because of his wife's illness, he did not reverse for several periods. Fuck, tired of books, and send tasks to the county. My parents are tired, but they still won't come. Cao Cao was furious, making people honest, knowing that his wife was cheating on his illness, but paying for the report ... and killing him. "
This means that Hua Tuo lied that his wife came home sick because she was unpopular, but Cao Cao refused to go anyway. Later, when Cao Cao checked, Hua Tuo's wife showed that she was sick and flew into a rage. She arrested Hua Tuo and finally killed him. It can be seen that the tragedy of Hua Tuo's murder is caused by his character and Cao Cao's character, and has nothing to do with Guan Yu mentioned in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
