Since ancient times, most of them have used solid wood, because it means grounding gas and can be well preserved.

Hardwood (redwood is a precious hardwood) is calm and atmospheric in color, high in density, heavy in moisture, and more than 50 times more resistant to moisture and corrosion than ordinary furniture wood such as pine. Putting it in the grave can keep it from rotting for a hundred to a thousand years.

Traditional urns are all tenon-mortise structures. Tenon and mortise technology, good sealing, strong and firm. The urn with mortise and tenon structure has good sealing performance and is strong for hundreds of years. If the nails are combined, the connected nails will rust and the urn will fall apart. The tenon and mortise are of high quality. Pushing nails in by squeezing and drilling hard wedges will easily cause wood splitting, which will affect the quality and sealing of the urn.

When choosing an urn, be sure to check whether the merchant has a "wood inspection report" and a "product quality inspection report" before buying the urn, and conduct official verification if necessary, so that you can rest assured that the report is complete.
