An analysis of the causes of Tashan manger in Feidong County

Tashan is a hill at the northeast end of the Fu Cha Mountains (let's call it a mountain range). I'm going to see it at the weekend.

When driving near the temple, I met an uncle Bao. He said that you asked Nanwen Village along the road, and everyone knew Tashan.

When they came to Nanwen Village, the two sisters said that they could find the manger by turning left at high speed up the hill, but it rained yesterday and the car couldn't drive up the hill.

On the left lane of the expressway, there are mountains and rivers running down, and it is really impossible to drive. I never give up walking around the mountain. I met a big sister driving a tricycle. When I asked for directions, I stopped decisively and enthusiastically pointed out several possible paths up the mountain. I tried, but it still didn't work.

When I bypassed Tashan to Zhang Yang Village, an uncle who applied pesticides to rape said that it was raining and there was no way to climb the mountain. Let's go back by road.

Climbing up the muddy mountain road honestly, Tashan in early spring looks particularly desolate, until only a few small pine trees are left, which still looks a little alive.

The rut in the ravine shows that you can still drive up the mountain on a sunny day.

There are many legends about water manger and dry manger in Tashan, so I chose the second one as my food friend.

One said: There are two stone troughs on the mountainside of Tashan Mountain. According to legend, Jin Wushu, the prince of the State of Jin, was stationed at this time and used concave stones as a trough to pour water and drink horses. When a stone falls, it dries up, which is called a dry manger, and a stone is inexhaustible, which is called a water manger.

Second, during the Jian 'an period, Xelloss personally led an army of 400,000 and fought in Wu Dong all the year round. From Luzhou (Hefei) to Jianye (now Nanjing), Tashan is the only way. Cao Shi's father and son passed Xianshan Post Station many times and drank horses in Tashan. Dry manger feeds forage, while water manger drinks horses. Over time, it has formed a thousand-year allusion to the dry manger.

A thousand words can't explain why there are two grooves on the lonely and bare Tashan and a lonely and bare stone!

The dry manger is about 2m long, 1 m wide and 0.5m deep. The length, width and depth of the sink are too small to lie down alone. Seeing this size, I wonder if you can think of what this stone trough is for? How is it formed?

To solve this mystery, let's start with another thing.

Shouxian is a thousand-year-old city. You can kick out an ancient tomb if you are not careful. Once I saw someone digging a stone, I dug an ancient tomb in the stone. Half on the stone and half in the soil, it is almost the same size and shape as the dry manger.

You may ask, why carve a stone for the grave?

You know, in ancient times, the tomb was about Feng Shui, and Mr. Feng Shui buried it wherever he measured it. When the old man measured on the stone, he had to chisel it.

You may ask again, why chisel one big and one small?

In ancient times, this kind of stone was covered with topsoil, but it was exposed by wind and rain and soil erosion. I didn't know there was a stone under it when I was digging. It is important to have water, so it is impossible to put the grave in the water. If Mr. Feng Shui said that the compass was disturbed by the magnetic field just now, it should have moved a little, so there was really no water when I dug down. In fact, Mr. Feng Shui is still a little level. He saw that there were no cracks around the small stone trough, and it was useless to dig down because it could store water. There are several big cracks in the big stone trough, and the rain seeps away along the cracks, which is relatively dry. Therefore, when it looks like a manger, people today call it a dry manger.
