Brief introduction of Li ancestral hall
Li's Ancestral Hall is located in Yicun, yi county, covering an area of 1200 square meters. It is a Han ancestral temple building built in the Ming Dynasty, which belongs to the place where Han people worship their ancestors and sages. Rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. The whole ancestral temple is rigorous in structure, magnificent in momentum and unique in layout, which shows the superb level of planning and design of ancient Han residential buildings. Outside is a small courtyard, and the entrance at the back is the gate, which is a round cave door, and the cave is the yard. The ground in the center of the courtyard is inlaid with a huge geomantic gossip, which is very strange. Up a few steps, it is a platform 20 meters long and 8 meters wide, all covered with "Yixian Green". Two more steps, the gatehouse of the ancestral temple, with its cornices upturned, and the stone carvings of dragons, phoenixes, unicorns and other animals on the roof are lifelike. There are twelve round wooden pillars in the ancestral hall, and twelve screen doors are arranged neatly and have a unique style. It is rare for the ancient ancestral temple in Yixian County. Being in it is like a lifetime ago. The fresh moss traces on the wall roots are faintly green, like the imprint of time. Penetrating the patio is still the ancient sky.
