Yao (1335- 14 18), whose young name is Tian Xi, whose word is Tao, and whose legal name is Tao Yan, is also known as the old man who fled the sky, also known as the old man in the lonely temple, and the lazy pavilion Weng. Yao became a monk in his early years. Learn Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, and be good at poetry. 1382, Zhu Yuanzhang chose a monk to serve the kings, and recommended to bless the late Ma Huanghou. Yao was recommended to accompany the Prince of Yan to Daqing Shou Temple, the abbot of Beiping. From then on, he often went to Yan, participated in the plot to seize the throne, and became an important counselor.

Yao Tomb Pagoda is located in the north of Chorakuji Temple Village, Fangshan District, Beijing. It was built in Yongle period of Ming Dynasty.
